Dude... at this point you really need to just have someone help you get to the desk because you've been stuck here for how many parts, and you're not figuring it out. Believe me, I'm stubborn as hell too, but sometimes I just want to continue the story so I need to ask for sighted assistance. The way I did it was resetting so that it put me in front of Dema, and then I just walked to the right for a while without pushing R3. When I heard rain after walking to the right for a while, I did push R3 and it took me right to the desk. I don't know if that was pure luck, but maybe give that a try next time.

And EA should definitely add a screen reader for UFC5 it’s all ready very accessible as it’s a fighting game, but a screen reader would make it so much easier to navigate, so I don’t have to just remember the menus of my heart

Ah yes... this part of the mission is indeed a pain in the ass. Unfortunately you have to get the placement just right or it won't register you pushing L2 and R2. I will say you don't have to look at the books and the potions. The most important thing is the desk. I do wish they added some kind of haptic feedback in the controller to let you know if you're near the part where you have to push L2 and R2 to zoom in, but I've been able to do it three times with just a little patience and aimless wandering with the right stick lol! Petting Dema is a nice stress reliever though!

Currently watching you fight the rat king. Sorry I missed the live stream. This is my favorite boss fight! It definitely took me a couple hours because I made the same mistake you did and wasted all my flamethrower ammo on the bloater before this. It's definitely doable, you just have to use the tools you have very wisely! I'm gonna tell you something one of my best friends told me when I was struggling. You can feel his footsteps in the controller since he's so big, so once you feel and hear him coming closer you have to run, and when you don't feel his footsteps in the controller make sure you are locked onto him and you have to shoot whenever you can. Why is your screen reader not announcing what you're picking up? That would be really helpful especially in boss fights. That way you know you've picked up more ammo. Your shotgun is really useful here, especially if you have incendiary shells.

Wow. I love the voice acting, and I love the music as well. The fact that they've got accessibility in this game is really cool. I'm not sure if you and I would be able to play it together. Don't know. Wouldn't it be neat, if they had a Star Wars game like this for the PC? That would be so cool. It would be completely created from sound imagery. You'd have to play it through headphones. I'm saying, if they had a game like this for the PC. I had a friend of mine once asked me if they had any Star Wars interactive fiction. Text adventures. Anyhow, well done.

Awesome. I love the music in this one. It's got that sort of Asian or Chinese flare. It is absolutely beautiful. Not sure when I'll do my next live stream. I'm thinking about it though. I love the Flute work in the beginning of the music at the beginning of the game. The type of flute that is used there is a bamboo flute I believe. I'd have to listen to it again.

Oh! Change your Web wings from tap to hold! That way when you push triangle to zip to an enemy your Web wings won't get you away from them!

Web strike takedown doesn't work when you get spotted! 🤣 I do wish there was a sound queue to let you know where to go to be safe, so you can do stealth. If you have the screen reader shortcut on with the left or right arrow, it will tell you if you're safe or unsafe, but you don't know where to go to stay safe And continue to do stealth. I can a little bit, but it's mostly based on luck and where I hear the enemies. If it tells you you're safe, push L2R2 to zip somewhere and you will most likely be safe. As for combat, I've noticed you're struggling quite a bit. Push triangle once to zip to an enemy, dodge by pushing circle, hold square for a second to launch them into the air, and spam Square until they're defeated. Air combat is better and more effective than combat on the ground. If you're pushing triangle and there isn't an enemy right by you, push your Spidey sense with R3 and it will point you towards nearby enemies. Each time you defeat an enemy dodge just in case, and repeat the process. Once you get the rhythm and pattern down, it will become second nature. I think it definitely helped that I learned with the first game, then played Miles Morales, and then Spider-Man two. Once you have basic combat down, then you can start throwing in one of my favorite things, it's either called Web yank or air yank. I can't remember which one it is, but while you're in the air after you defeat an enemy, dodge, hold triangle for a second and it will pull someone else up into the air with you and you can beat them senseless. I also like to do finishers in the air. Listen to what the enemies are saying And when you hear them load their crossbow or cock the gun. The enemies will often tell each other when they're reloading or about to fire, so you can use that to your advantage. I will say I'm on my fourth playthrough, and I've only just figured out the difference between parrying and dodging crush attacks. They both have sound cues, you just have to practice and get the hang of which one means what. I still get them mixed up from time to time, but it's definitely getting easier each time I play. If you need any reminders, in one of the tabs in the menu where you push the pad, there is a moves list and you can look at everything you can do. It might seem a little overwhelming, but I would say focus on the basic combat category until you have that down. I hope you're enjoying the game so far, and I think it's really brave of you to play the second game without playing the previous games. I would at least watch the first game and Miles so you're familiar with the story. Later on it's going to get very heavy from elements in the first game and the Miles Morales game. Also the first games story is phenomenal and my favorite Spider-Man story ever! It's definitely worth a watch, and that's what inspired me to get a PS five because I wanted to play it so bad! I would kill for accessibility on those games because I want to play the first game again, but I need help with everything that isn't combat! The story is literally so good I watched it four times on RUclips before I played, so I had a couple of the sound cues down already. Keep up the good work!

As much as I LOVE Spider-Man 2 and I will defend it until the day I die... it's far from the most accessible game on Playstation. It's definitely getting there, but the navigation assist needs massive improvements. That's the biggest complaint I have. The feature that points the camera toward the main objective doesn't always work especially inside. It will point you at walls instead of taking you around obstacles. That's the most annoying thing for me, but I get by even if it takes me a couple days sometimes and five seconds other times. It is annoying how inconsistent the navigation assist is, but I've said that to insomniac a few different times even before the update so hopefully it will get fixed. I will say though it's a little better than it was on Spider-Man remastered and Miles Morales. Once they get Spider-Man two pretty much perfect, I really hope they will go back and add these features to Miles Morales and remastered. I hate this part because the Emily May Foundation is a navigation nightmare! I usually don't like to go explore. I will literally sit there and do nothing forever until Harry calls so it's more likely that I will find him.

You don't seem to have the POI ping on. That's literally a sound that plays when you push our three as you navigate and it's really helpful because it lets me know how close or far away I am to my objective, and it's muffled if I'm under or behind something and clearer if I'm right on the objective. It's another good indicator to know when the look at waypoint feature is actually guiding. :)

The first game's main menu theme is by far my favorite, but this one is awesome and I love to let them play all the way through! The Miles Morales main menu theme is my least favorite, but it's still good.

Well said. You know, all games should be accessible. I've got a friend who has a PS five, and they've got Accessible games. Why can't WWE do the same? Hopefully, if WWE sees what the PS people are doing for the PlayStation making them accessible along with their games they'll follow suit. It's similar to Disney and universal. Disney started putting audio descriptive on their DVDs, and so universal followed suit. A lot of videos have audio descriptive now and I'm very thankful for that. a lot of the Disney Channel original movies, when in particular, Smart House has audio descriptive, and the woman who describes it is Tandy Sanders. Or I think her name is Tandy Anderson. I'll have to look. She describes other movies as well, and she's very good. Her first name is Tandy though. Anyhow, here's a little tip. If you want to stop and start your video without your voice over getting in the way, Tim, use your volume up and down buttons when you're recording. That'll start and stop your video for you. When you hear one ding, it's recording. When you hear too, that means it stopped. Similar to the Voice Memos app.

I'd really hope that in the year of our lord 2024 that games would *add* accessibility, not take it away...
