Hi,, Thank you for this video, it is very helpful but I have a doubt. I can't understand or find the substantial difference between broadband and the multiplexing technique FDM; these technologies seem overlapping to me although some say they are two distinct things. In broadband, multiple data signals can be transmitted at the same time. With broadband, the band on a communication medium is divided into separate channels. The FDM multiplexing technique seems to perform the same function. thanks
This guy teaches
That is Sea Colony, I believe.
Good job.
Good job.
Just keep you up to date. I have passed the D413 Telecomm and Wireless Communication exam in WGU. This video has helped me to have better understanding of Multiplexing. I did not use any study guide for Multiplexing. Just this
your video recommended by WGU. i like your teaching style jake
Really? WGU recommended my video? That's... crazy!
Yes. Your video was recommended for multiplexing topic
@@gileneo6999 Awesome! Thanks for letting me know and I am glad you and your classmates found this helpful!
beside your amazing and smooth explanation, the PowerPoint is beautifully designed, can you send me the ppt with the background pictures for my final thesis presentation
Pog
Almost all of them are on their phone 🤦🏻♂️. Also. Wth is even this. Who cares
It's freaking Connor McDavid bro

#stopthistrend
I'm genuinely confused. What about this is a trend?
Question :- so WDM(wavelength div.) is same as FDM right ? if there are any diff. do mention please. I could find that FDM uses low frequency electrical RF while WDM uses THz. What else is there ? great video btw.
Sorry for the late reply... but I hope this is still helpful!! I did not do too much research on WDM, but yes they are a different. FDM and WDM both have wave patterns, unlike tdm and stdm. The main (and from what I know, the only) difference is what each are used for. FDM is used for standard cables, such as ethernet cables (or anything that has a twisted cable) while WDM is used for fibre/optic cables. Other than this, they should be the same.
This is incredible. I am speechless
can i have the ppt? thanks!!
I am not giving it out cause ik you will probably just use it for yourself :)
Thank you
Glad to help!
I'm confused. Is the multiplexer some sort of hardware device or does the multiplexing just happen magically?
of course it's a physical device. there is no magic unless you live in a fairyland 🧙♂️🌟
Awesome video!
