Cheers Chris, almost preferred this year's version of the series, with one segment and finish points versus FAL and FTS on every damn segment 😬
Remember that night really funny and Silas didn’t know what we were on about with the steering

Twas an epic piece of effort from you Patrik - Steve and Mark to keep us going. Jamie and Dan both did their bit and we survived and didn’t come last. Hurrah! 🎉
Thanks Silas, it was a tactical win for sure. The odd mix of FAL/FTS/FAL/FTS on the sprint and only one for legsnapper made it quite interesting, and my guess is that many of the riders hadn’t read up on the points. Messed up a couple of power up uses and that downhill was nerve wracking against a whole bunch of heavier riders but just had to trust that I wouldn’t get dropped.
Awesome stuff Patrik. Well done dude. That was a massive victory. You make it look quite routine! A lesson in staying 100% focused throughout a race on a route notorious for dropping riders who aren’t paying attention…(me for example).🎉
Cosmic stuff! Textbook Patrik! I don't know Finnish...what did the 2nd place rider (the one with the top hat) say when you launched from about 0.7km out...? (I can have a guess what it may have been...)
He was taking a sip and me going that early took him by surprise, so he nearly choked on the water 😬

No, it’s really out in the wilderness. The bears are fed though, and eat everything they can find before their hibernation.

I love watching cubs. Especially when they come out of the den for the first time and see the world. At first they are a little scared but after a minute they are playing. I love it. And they have a great mama to teach and protect them.

What equipment did you record this with? The quality is amazing
Hide The Chicken Canon legria HF G30 (Canon vixia G30 in the U.S.) I was always happy with the image quality of that camcorder. It was in the “prosumer” segment, so not the cheapest one out there.

Hade inte förväntat mig så många björnar. Direkt vi kom till stugan stod runt 10 björnar och väntade på oss. Sen var det smörgåsbord flera timmar fram...
