I think the loudest one we had at Lothian was 806 the airfan on it broken and well u could hear 806 long before it came into view although I believe it ended with green bus and now has a new air fan fitted

Has one of these E200 Engines every Dart in the West Midlands seems to now have. I think it is a Cummins 4 cylinder but not sure. If it does it at least sounds like an E200 Engine with ZF Transmission like on many WM Darts

Blimey! I regularly went to Bishop Perowne school in Worcester on this very bus in the late 80s. I remember the registration along with its sibling NOE 545R. The school is on a steep hill and I remember the clouds of smoke when pulling off! Also the driver yelling at the kids when they tried opening the emergency door and set the alarm off!
