Brandes-Ward Maclean, “How Can A Soul Survive?”
This was his best period
The end of Angie's story sounds like the song "queen bitch"
He'll hath no scorn like a woman furiously scorned or something
She is a great storyteller. And Bowie himself has often said that he has barely any recollections of the 70's. So thank god for Angie on that.
Marianne Faithful turned out not to be faithful at all.
Even her voice is irritating.
Give Angie a Medal for that reading!
Hard woman to love for sure
Davids dead
God bless David Bowie.
I hate to say it, but drugs make them more interesting. Take a very interesting man or woman, they take loads of drugs, they have stories to tell, and I always love most of all when they clean up and get sober, and crack on with their art or music. I’m Irish, take MacGowan for example, drank since he was like 6 or something, did loads of other drugs, he took 20 tabs of acid I think in one night, lunatic…but he was a real character, sadly in his case he never really sobered up and it would have been great to see him get back to his music and live to an old age, but that wasn’t the case with him. At least with Bowie, he got sober, Ozzy got sober and they can have a normal conversation with people again and make albums and perform. Billy Idol also.
I can't think which would be more frightening...Angie appearing at the door or David and Mick in bed together.
et oui l'aigle d'Acier
It was obvious that David Bowie was bi sexual years ago and Mick Jagger and Bowie were lovers who cares what they got up too , David Bowie was a great artist, singer ,actor , and the rolling stones are old but can still put out a beat.
Yardbirds comment is surely tounge in cheek people come on! Very interesting convo
Her self pitying voice is enough to hit that little white X at the bottom😂
Poor Angie. People love to Angie bash. I wonder why her and Duncan were on such bad terms.
Let's not forget that it was David that put them on the map, not the other way around
What an absolute gem of a conversation, I completely relate to his way of thinking and I am so grateful for this man. We miss you George
Loved her and especially her book. As for David, God knows he's good.
...and then he married the true love of his life-Iman❤
Looking for notoriety, David has declared he had every sexual inclination on Earth to that point he lost credibility in this area.
Why all the fuss? This is what young men did in the 1970s if they were not ugly.
Her diction here is EVERYTHING.
Drops acid and thinks that hallucinations are proof of god. Nope. It's proof psychedelics do a number on your brain.
Heh heh. She said "seminal adventures." Heh heh heh
EXCELLENT reader!!❤ bummed this is so heavily abridged, it’s been torn to pieces😢
I think of it as going through a tunnel… David made it through the Tunnel others don’t Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Brian Jones, Jim Morrison, Amy Winehouse, it’s such a shame. Peace to all the World from Scotland.
Both weair couple
That pic of Bowie with the cig is so cool!
Any person who reaads aloud with her kind of voice has little right to talk about anyone else's drug use. She sounds utterly baked. And utterly insane.
with her entering in the room
Yes, that is the last sentence in the book.
wait... did it just end like that
As far as her changing accents, perhaps sometimes she puts on certain accents for certain comments. But I think that's about what is the best "fit' to accentuate the comment appropriately. In my opinion, most of the time she isn't even aware of her accents changing. I'd love to know who was really responsible for Angela's presence "on the scene". As fabulous as she was and is, her life in London doesn't seem organic. There's just too much agenda pushing.
She is insufferable.
This is gorgeous and really fun. ⏳
This is beautiful and really fun. ⏳
Golden Years is a beautiful song.
It was the coke.
I don’t think she’s bitter and I do think she’s honest.
Angie is smart, articulate and I think honest. This is neat.
Hysterical No wonder David fancied this woman Sense of humor And she looked awfully dirty in her younger years.. Purrfect combo
Would someone be able to tell me what show number and series number of this Innerview program? Thank you
WTF is going on at the end of the video?
She has no right to share this man's private life. Never deserved to be his wife. She isn't respectable in the slightest
Probably, wishful dreaming from the author.
Nope. All true.
Wishful dreaming? She literally had his son lol
Bowie does a great Mick impersonation.
she's annoying
Too bad for you I guess.
Why wait now
Too bad they can't layer some of his music over this...The Prettiest Star...Golden Years...Scary Monsters...The Pretty Things Are Going To Hell..etc
