Some plastics are just a nightmare. But I love scratch built models like this. Completely unique and a great model.

I only paint the figure for fun, no interest in gaming with them, would the codex give me info on the chapters and factions? AKA im a slamander Boy.

Love the plasma effect. My eyes were drawn straight to that on the final reveal, working my way towards the mighty Titus and the mountain of nids scrambling to feast on him. Great work. And good luck for the house move.

Would this be considered painting the box art if you used an inverted verion of the box art?

Now imagine this as a death company model because that is basically what I’m creating except it has chain fists just for that gory look I have with my army. No powers weapons just chainswords, chainfists, heavy bolter pistols, volkite pistols, meltas, and flamers of all types across my army. Also many jump packs in the original pack style even on the newer Primaris of my chapter.

They dont give you enough in the starter box for certain support detachments. (i.e.terminators for example). But you CAN use them in detachment upgrades.( more bases, better morale).

Thank you so much for this video! I had some real concerns about the scale difference between the Devastation arms and the Primaris bodies. This relieved all of my concerns. Great conversion!

Your white looks super chalky and pretty awful. Which defeats the purpose of showing people white isnt hard

New MK3 are such a disappointment. I really wish I had grabbed the old ones.

I don't know if I'd say it's better than GW's, because they're both creative and unique. I like the increased use of tyranid chitin on your mini's right arm and the cool custom combi flamer. As for the GW mini, I prefer the sculpted gore on the knife as I think it looks more cohesive and refined, as well as the inclusion of more detail on the base. Both are excellent, and each have their strengths. Cheers mate!

Have you ever tried thinning out the brush load and dry brush on the colors? If you fast bush a surface much like a shoe shine brush, you can brush off the pools. Adjusting wrist pressure on a bush can make different weights on brush strokes. I think brushes and pen tablets operates with a same principle of control.

Contrast paints don’t work well with large flat surfaces, they’re intended for models which have lots of details for them to pool in.
