That was a beautiful dance!! I do solo praise dances as well at my church & God just stirred in my heart to start incorporating flags so seeing this was a big confirmation!

I discovered I was a liturgical dancer in college 10 years ago. I felt a call to dance for the Lord but did not attend a church that had liturgical dance. I also did not know how to dance so I created my own dance. I remember dancing for the Lord as one of the best experiences of my life. I didn't know what liturgical dance was just that I wanted to praise the Lord through dance. Regrettably, I stopped dancing as I became distracted with the ups and downs of life. I discovered true liturgical dance again recently 10 years later and have started studying it more seriously this time.

Love liturgical dance

It definitely makes sense I just found out that about this from your video. And it’s blessing my heart. Because I thought it was something wrong with me. Like a month or so ago I was teaching my step nieces a dance and one of them kept playing during practice and I couldn’t take it no more so I told her I wasn’t going to do it anymore because I love to worship it makes me feel like I’m alive and to see her not taking it serious made me feel like it was just a dance to her but to me it means a lot. I don’t know what to call myself right now. But I’m going to pray on and see what the lord says. Thank you for being a blessing and helping me learn a little something about liturgical dance.
