This is my RUclips channel dedicated to tours of different 1980s themed Arcades, Gameroom's and Arcade Bars that I chronicle while traveling. As a child of the 1980s I grew up going to arcades like Time Out, Aladdin's Castle, Nathan's Gameroom and others. Now, whenever I travel, I seek out Arcades, Arcade Bars and Restaurants and any place I can drop a quarter or a token and relive my misspent youth. I hope you enjoy these tours and provide feedback and comments on places I should visit and checkout.

@@kapowsarcadeadventures9231 we had a blast! The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. My gf mentioned wanting to have her bday dinner there. My homie was playing a lot of the shmups and setting the hi score. My gf and I played the fighting games and beat em ups. One thing I did notice was that the games seemed to be set to easy. I was doing stuff in mortal kombat against the cpu that definitely wouldn't have worked on the normal settings.
Reclaim Arcade is one of the best places. Their food is amazing and their selection of beers is awesome.

Been there a few times already. Lots of fun! They’ve even recently hosted their first official pinball tournament with more on the way!
John…I wish I could have gone. I think hosting tournaments and maybe getting on the league circuit will really help them get more notoriety as a great place to go play pinball in Northern Virginia.

Funny you would mention Bruce Lee when talking about Kung Fu Master. The game is known by the msme Spartan X iin Japan and based ipon the Jackey Chan film of the same name, but better known as Wheels On Meals outside of Japan. This Kung Fu Master is a Jackey Chan game.
I had not heard that before. Very interesting. The game is also heavily inspired by the Bruce Lee film Game of Death (1972), which was the basis for the game's concept. I looked up the history and you are correct as well as the games original design inspiration being drawn from Bruce Lees Game of death.

@@user-so4ol8bv6j 100% agree! I truly appreciated the information. I had never actually looked up the history of the game before. I had just assumed it was based on Bruce Lee. I found it very interesting to see that it was both Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan as you had pointed out. I always find it’s super interesting to see where the game designers dry inspiration from.

No Medieval Madness is always a shame but a nice collection regardless. Check out Pinball Long Island is you're ever in the area. They have a massive collection and some really rare units.

Ocelot is the best place to play pinball in Northern Virginia! Most of their modern Sterns are Premium!

That Klax cab is hard to find but you can play Klax on the Sega Genesis or Atari Lynx! 😆 ( I have a Genesis just not that game in my Library.) Or get an emulator and Download it on your phone or PC. 🙄

this is why i will NOT have an air hockey table at my arcade. you can hear it the entire video. its by far the loudest and most consistent sound. Its probably less noticable when its packed, but oh man its pretty annoying in any arcade. Pool tables get a pass because people shoot far less frequently.
George! It’s funny I wouldn’t have thought of that in the context you mention. To me when I go through arcades like this it’s almost like white noise in the background hearing vids, pins, skeball, and air hockey that I just expect to hear. But I think your totally correct. If I were an operator running an arcade that I was in 10-12 hours or more a day I think that constant clacking on the air hockey would drive me crazy! Where is your arcade located and what’s is it’s name? Thank you for watching!

Thanks for the tour. I live 50 minutes away and will be headed there before the end of the year for sure. I am in my 40s so I have been to plenty of arcades like this when I was a kid, but my kids haven't, I will be taking them with me.

The Environmental ( Sit down?!?) DOT is my ( Wet) Dream! Played it a few dozen times almost 40 years ago! The sit down MACH 3, Star Wars and SpyHunter are Awesome! 🤩 This place is FANTASYLAND! The only two that might be better are FunSpot and Galloping Ghost which I haven’t been to yet but looking forward to next year! 😎

Too bad TRON was down and it’s getting harder to find a DoT which is also one of my favorite games of all Time! Tournament CyberBall 2072 is Awesome 😎 and One of my favorite arcade cabs of all Time!
