Hit and Run was the first surf video I ever owned on VHS and that brought me into the sport when I was maybe 7? This came out a bit later and my second all time favorite. Brings back crazy nostalgia for me.
Wow, the nostalgia is powerful with this one. I got this DVD for Christmas in 2006 and was hooked. I showed my friends and every time they came over they’d ask to watch it. We also used to watch it the night before an epic, glassy swell was coming. A nice little bonus with the DVD came with a 1 year subscription of TransWorld Surf Magazine which was bought out by Surfer Magazine in 2013.
Mick how do you keep your balance equal. My front leg doesn't push as hard on turns compare to right back foot. I got a buffed right leg but it's dragging until I stand up and get going. I don't trust myself when the swell is over 7 ft or 2 km.
I'm not mick dude, I'm just a guy, but maybe its the way you are compressing? For me my back foot is usually dominant through turns anyway, but if I compress properly through both of me knees I feel I am surfing with more projection and acceleration through the middle of my board, especially though bottom turns and carves. If you lower your body equally through both knees and roll your back knee forward it might get you what you are looking for. It works for me anyway. As for your pop up just work on it dude. You'll get there.

Saw this premiere at La Paloma in Encinitas. Such a sick shot at 30:28, which was in the trailer.
I used to watch this almost daily back in 2007/2008. Thank you for posting.

Pay attention to the arms, buddy! The legs and your body will naturally follow your arms lead.
How’s the progress with the front foot? @anthonym4366
