Can I make a Metal Song with a $5 GUITAR???
I was given this guitar as a joke on my birthday, but I decided I was gonna actually make a song with it. After a ton of distortion and eq, and trying to keep this thing actually in tune, I somehow made a sound I could work with. I was able to get a cool harmonic minor scale using the 4 open strings and the song just built from there, would love to try using more weird instruments in the future to make songs like this.

Here's my cover of Mattel by @avengedsevenfold! Doing these songs makes me appreciate how much Syn Gates put into the tones creatively on this album. @@Xereiki it was a whole amalgamation of things haha, took a long time to figure out
@@chancebattenberg8400 got it; it sounds like an arpeggiator that increases the note with the foot pedal state?
@@Xereiki basically it’s a bunch of harmonies stacked in a pitch block in the axe fx 3, then a second pitch block which enables me to control the pitch with my foot and kinda autotune it by locking into pitch as soon as it changes. Plus a lot of other effects like a synth block and etc.
