Synner Solo Contest - The Stage - Chance Battenberg
Here's my solo for the Synner Contest by Synner where we picked a backing track out of 8 songs and did a solo over them. The Stage felt like a great backing track for me to be creative with the chord progression, and overall am very happy with how it turned out.

Can I make a Metal Song with a $5 GUITAR???

I was given this guitar as a joke on my birthday, but I decided I was gonna actually make a song with it. After a ton of distortion and eq, and trying to keep this thing actually in tune, I somehow made a sound I could work with. I was able to get a cool harmonic minor scale using the 4 open strings and the song just built from there, would love to try using more weird instruments in the future...

I spent a lot of time figuring out how to do the synth tone since I hadn't seen anyone else do it yet. Okay. So obviously. Amazing full Album cover as always but I've definitely found my problems with this album. One, We love you *Shrugs* That's all. Really don't care for the song. Two. Shadow's voice on this album. His voice through the whole album just sounds like he was sick or getting over a cold.
