I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I'm up with 244k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. The biggest hurdle I can see for these three trusts is the fact that they are investment trusts - ETFs in biotech are moving well ahead of the trusts this year, mainly, I think, because more money is flowing into them. All of these trusts deserve to receive more inflows - but will it happen?

This trust has all the hallmarks of a big winner. Yet it still languishes. The big guys clearly do not see the upside yet. Will EWI ever see a return of the glory days of yore?

Yeah because they dont mark to market, and when the public markets tank the fed lowers interest rates and pe firms load up on more and more debt.

EPIC and Bytedance have big Chinese interests, that’s a bit worrying when we’ve seen how CCP have shown they won’t allow the kinds capitalistic behaviour that allow companies to grow massively in profits.

I’m a bit disillusioned in Monks, a investment trust with the number of diversified assets it has shouldn’t be this far below the market index. All feels a bit too late, e.g, dropping companies like caravana after their stock plummeted.

And what happens if interest rates continue to rise and punters pull more and more money out of the market? If growth stocks don’t enter a new bull market soon, there is going to be a pointy reckoning! 🥶

How much can i start with

This sounds much better on my phone than on my super duper big smart TV (where it sounds like he in in an echo chamber). His relaxed style bellies the content which is densely packed with stuff which deserves time to consider. I replayed parts but I probably missed other thought provoking comments. This guy has interesting things to say and touches areas other mngrs don't reach. Strategy fits with predictions of the UBS Wealth survey. A few graphics would definitely help. I do not hold this trust. I do hold a few of his competitors.
