I first heard the studio version of this song in February of 2005 and have been a fan ever since. I finally get to say that I’m going to see her live in Seattle in October. I’ll be traveling all the way from New Orleans but it is most definitely going to be worth every single penny!!

The composition itself is really simple and has a rather light, romantic feeling. But after watching the movie, it's impossible not to think about the scene it was written for. The cue utterly loses its light feel and becomes sad and tragic. That scene was the best in the whole movie. David Lynch directing + Angelo Badalamenti scoring + Sherilyn Fenn acting is one of the best conjunctions in the cinema (Audrey's prayer from Twin Peaks FTW).
