Thanks Mr 1 hand
i love farming to bad i have only 1 hand now full support to you my friend.
Thanks
Which variety is that one?
Don’t know I just used the seeds from the pumpkins I bought 7 years ago and have been take the seeds out of mine and replanting them every year
@bigredfarmer I'd like to send you seeds from a pro farmer seed company if you have a p.o box or a business address. Not private address. In the meantime, if you can, make a note of leaf quality, disease resistance, nutrient deficiency, insect damage etc on the leaves and vines as well as pumpkin shape and size, skin quality and weight. Collect and grow seeds only from the best plant and fruit combination. The pumpkins by now might be similar to the parent varieties but they can soon be your own local variety. Good luck with sales this fall.
Thats very hard work good job keep it up bro
Thank you, I will
Beautiful
Thank you yes they are beautiful
My pumpkin plants just keep making flowers but no pumpkins
Ok do you have bees to pollinate the flowers
The deer went for a swim.
Yep
To get to the other side of the creek
@@bigredfarmer haha!
I got a 150 like that
Nice
Just saw ur vid. Are those bales 22 inch high, how heavy, what other way to know moisture limit without stopping and testing when ur in a rush. I'm sorry i have tinnitus, i can still hear but i have done enough tractors these days i don't want to listen. I make 3x3 on my second cut alfalfa 440- 450 twine can't get 350 they break on straw
We just bale the hay and don’t worry about the moisture we feels it in the windrow to see if it feels dry and then we start baling

👌
Some nice looking hay and equipment. What size twine does that baler use?
I uploaded a short on the twine the baler takes
4000/350 is what we used in our D1000 for years. Due to the 350 strength twine becoming less available we tried 4000/440 and it has worked well. I have spoken extensively with another D1000 owner who was also a net and twine dealer and he said his D1000 did not work well with the 440 twine. His baler was an earlier serial number unit with twine discs of all the same thickness. The balers after the major SN break have a twine disc with a much thicker lower disc and that is what ours is. We concluded that the later twine disc may be why the 440 worked in our baler well but not so well in his.
Nice
What a Man!🙏🙏❤️🤍💙❤️🤍💙❤️🤍💙😇😇😇😇
Hey buddy just wanted to say hi. Its been busy at work, and also its my Chili pepper 1st harvest of the season. the Weekends I spend my time picking peppers, and prepping them. to be fermented Same day. To make fermented hot sauce in 6 months. I know the feeling when it's ripe you got to get out there and pick it. Thank you for your hard work Brother hope you had a good day.
Thanks i did have a good day
So is this the new seeding that you harvested oats off a couple of weeks ago? Will you bale or chop this?
The new seeding we cut is what we took the oat off of and chopped and we are going to bale it
@@bigredfarmerplan is to bale all crops. The wether man tells you when to chop hay.
We got everything we cut baled
Fully view.
Nice
Watch hours matter.
I know but I’m trying to get 500 subscribers because that’s what I told my teacher I would be at by time summer over
Early morning on dairy farm. 😊 Plenty to do before the sun comes up.
Yep
Once again nice recording but need commentary. Tell about the tractor you’re using, the bush hog, and the reason for mowing the pasture. Such as weed control or encouraging new growth. Keep up the good work.
Thanks
You’re getting better at recording but you need to work on your commentary. Like when you were feeding the calves. Talk about their age and how many. Whether they are bulls or heifers just general knowledge stuff. The same with the chopped straw how it’s used in the TMR and what the benefit is to the cows digestion. Keep working at it you’ll get better as you go along.
Thanks
Looks like an earlier serial number D1000 judging by the red painted chamber. What part of IA are you in? I am in the NW corner, been running a later SN D1000 since 1999. Ours is getting close to 50,000 bales also.
Nice
I live close to the Dubuque county line
@@bigredfarmer Come to think of it, our D1000 came from somewhere in eastern IA. I don’t remember the town name any more, but it was not too far from the Mississippi.
Nice
We had a all yellow one of these baler but the weather never played ball here in the west of Scotland so we sold it and consitated on the round bale .the New Holland worked a treat when the conditions were right
I hope that's a Ragweed out there a smart farmer knows that Ragweed keeps a boll weevils out of their crops and whenever you see tomorrow night butterflies that's where those weevils come from and spring is not a good thing for the monarchs if you don't have the toxic ragweed they prefer it that's where they get the toxin that keeps them alive
The are putting on fungus on the corn.
I could smell the hay being cut in the video!! How long did it take to mow all that down? Nice smooth field, up here in northern Wis. you can see the machines bouncing around do to the hard clay and rocks!!
We don’t have rocks we have very good ground
It’s took me 5 hour to cut 45 acres of alfalfa
How many of you have seen a hay conditioner
The 1644 is a very nice combine
Wow a 1644 caught in the wild in its natural habitat. Almost looks virgin. Nice
The baler has over 50000 bales in total

I think it's pretty cool to meet a farmer that Farms on a large scale. I only know small and local famers were i live. where I buy produce from. They are nothing on your scale. God bless you brother. Thank you for what you do.
Thanks
@@bigredfarmer I've grown a lot of produce in my backyard. sometimes having to wait years for edible produce. like artichoke or asparagus. a year for onions or garlic. we really take a lot of things for granted. Or at least i did. God bless you Brother.
ok
