Deck plan shows all these solo OV cabins as being directly under the World Theatre. That is very concerning as I have to believe these cabins could be noisy well into the night with late performances. As a solo I’d pay more for a standard Oceanview in a better, mid-ship location under the shops which should be quieter at night when they are closed. Doesn’t matter how nice a cabin is if you’re miserable the whole cruise from noise above. ALWAYS KNOW WHAT IS ABOVE, BELOW AND NEXT TO YOUR CHOSEN CABIN OR YOU MAY BE SORRY!

The room was very noisy. There was clunking all day and night. The bathtub is dangerous. You have to step inside the tub, which is slippery, to turn the water on. It is hard to get in and out of. The cabin steward was terrible. We had to ask another steward for washcloths because there weren't any. Plus we never saw him/her.

Great idea, on themed ducks. We're taking our grandsons on a cruise and want to hide some with them. My grandsons last name is Ruff, so I'm going to take your advice and theme the ducks. So I'm now on the hunt for dog themed ducks for my grandsons last name Ruff🤣

Next visit, I will definitely check out Naughty Fox (I've heard great things about them) as well as your other four recommendations. It's tricky getting value for the dollar in Catalina. Just disembarked the Rotterdam 4.13.24 as a solo cruiser, This cabin was cozy and just the right size! Water pressure in the shower was better than home.

I am interested if you felt the shower tight for you? My husband and I are both larger people and I know you mentioned the toilet but curious about the shower and maybe if you’ve also done a regular balcony. We’ve never been in NCL so the doors are different than we’re used to!

I've only recently learned about the cruising duck trend, so on my last three cruises I tried to be aware to look out for prospective hidden ducks. I personally never found any. But I did witnessed a duck finding by another fellow cruiser. The duck was found in the lower branches of a tree on Royal Carribean's private island in Labadee. So I guess that the hidden ducks are not limited on the cruise ships.

IS THERE A U.S. ELECTRICAL OUTLET IN THE BATHROOOM?

I would like to know your thoughts on this room was there a lot of noise from the retractable roof or from outside guests? Did you experience a lot of movement in this room since it is towards the front of the ship? My wife and I have booked this exact room for an upcoming cruise and I want to know what to expect. Great video! Thank you! We have done the MSC Seaside YC balcony and loved it so much we are planning another. We absolutely loved it. We have been on over 30 cruises with various lines and many in suites. We found MSC YC to be top notch. We compared it to the Haven with NCL and we agreed that MSC was better in a lot of ways. We also compared it to Princess and RCCL suite experience and we felt it was better than both of those lines. Thanks for sharing.
