    I've been watching this build and love it. If it were mine I would add some windows. I like windows on the two doors and a slider window between the truck and camper. With that you can see behind you in the rear view mirror AND have a view when you're stuck inside on a rainy day. Look forward to seeing you put it to use!

    • @farmshopprojects
      @farmshopprojects 4 месяца назад

      The reason I didn’t actually do more windows is because I will also be using this for work during the week and will be carrying tools, more windows is potential for making it easier to break into. something I’ve dealt with in the past and don’t want to repeat! I plan on installing a camera for rear view. Also debated a window between the truck and camper since the tundra back window rolls down. It’s something I may still do!

    would be far more helpful if you showed exactly which motor and controller you used and how you wired it. I guess this video is more for entertainment than an instructional

    • @farmshopprojects
      @farmshopprojects 6 месяцев назад

      I would but it doesn’t really help since all these controllers will be slightly different with different instructions for programming depending on where you buy them from. And your controller will have to be matched to work with your motor. And there are plenty of motors that will work with shop smiths.

    • @farmshopprojects
      @farmshopprojects 6 месяцев назад

      Plus you should be fairly familiar with wiring, I wouldn’t want to show people without them having gone through at least some minimal electrical training

    Fiberglass is cool stuff….. I’d like to know more about it and how to make the form to make the shell from scratch lol…. Wonder if someone could 3D print some “mega legos” and make a camper out of those….. or an ICF truck camper build but it’s hard to beat fiberglass

    I’m curious, could you not eliminate expansion in those whiteboards by ripping them down the centre and glueing them again?

    • @farmshopprojects
      @farmshopprojects 9 месяцев назад

      I could but I've managed to minimize any further moisture, and its relatively stable now. So I will just leave it in hopes I will be in a drier shop in the future

      Straight or cross cut rabbit fur, straight cut for the tails, and they are simply called rabbit fur strips, any fly shop will have them. They are quite easy to make.

      Wow. Ya $8-$10 is a lot. In Oregon you cam get them for around $4.69 to $6.00. I ordered my own weight mold and just got some rabbit zonker. I need some cross cut still, but I do also have some marabou. Maybe I'll just put maribou for the body and use rabbit zonker for the tail.
