thanks were very evenly matched. were mates and fly together, weve never actually fought each other lol i have a thought about dales comment, i suspect its because of the wingsweep mechanism. at higher altitudes it will sweep and lower ias because mach changes relative to ias. i suspect its as simple as wingloading and lift area, wings back the tomcat is basically a 68 degree delta! but forward its almost a straight winged fighter, the f15 appears to be somewhere inbetween

We did the b. Results were opposite. The b has better acceleration but lower top speed than the Eagle. We're gonna do both tests again at max weight

it was a cluster from start to finish yogi lol, my lead had no comms, i had no nav, his nav didnt work properly and my bombs refused to drop lol

yes, it was a vortech supercharger with a 12psi pulley, belt slip meant it rarely hit more than 10 psi though, 300 ish bhp

Yeh it is. Its bvr! And it also alters how fast the sensor tracks too. So zoom gives very fine control and slow max rate. It's really easy to manually homd it on a moving target

@@everythingcarz7737 it was a c90 30 iirc. you can get a 38 which is bigger. dont know if youl hit 450 on the 2.8l. give the phirm a call.
