Cool post 😊✌️😎✌️
I was told about your video by the family and it is good to see Martyn enjoying what he liked best before his sudden death in April. I am glad he had such good friends who thought much of him and he had a lovely day with you fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him. After being able to view files on his PC I am finally getting answers as to why? Thanks again Martyn's Dad.
Hi, glad that you've seen the video. I stayed with him for 7 days and we managed to get out fishing for 6 of those days. I'm so glad that I filmed it as this was the last day that I saw him.
4 great singers in the original band. Not just good, but great.
It's sad that Ace didn't get on very well with the rest of them. Great voice, great bassist, but he used to fight with them often, especially Trevor Burton. Years later Carl Wayne said it was because they'd all grown up without fathers, and they were insecure in their roles as men and didn't know how to get along with each other. Had the band had better management and understood themselves better (and not made Roy Wood the sole creative writing force in the band, overworking him), they could have been the biggest band in the world.
worth it for the view
This..sends a shiver down my spine. 18 in 1985..
My home town i love driving up porlock hill it is so steep
Beatlesque head wobble.

MIGHTY MOVERS>>>>
This is very cool as a 'visual'! Alot of photos I have never seen before with cool effects. Thanks for this upload. 😀
My pleasure!
Still, the problems stay with us. Labor Day? Memorial Day? _What is it that anyone remembers but their own mired struggle?_
Back when Roy Wood was a mere sorcerer's apprentice
Ha ha haaa!! That's exactly what I thought with that black & gold robe. 😄
live they were freaks , they broke tv , cars , they put the fire in the Marquee ,the Beatles and the Rolling stone loved them

The seed of Electric Light Orchestra.
Not this tune, maybe the Idle Race.
Just a little of Ray Charles ...
D entrée les valeurs sont explicites
That was tits!
No conocia esta cancion de The Move,y eso que en España se publicaban sus discos.Muy mod,muy Small Faces/Steve Marriott
my favorite in the sixties
Who's this singing , it's not Carl Wayne
Ace Kefford I believe.
@@sgtmilko thanks
Is it Ace Kefford with that name and blond hair what inflenced Sting playing Ace Face, with the same blonde hair ib Quadrophenia??makes you wonder.
Who would dare to say that this guitarist is less skilled and innovator in sound effects and distortions, compared to Jimi Hendrix? It would be liars ...
I won't. ;-)
Nice.
these are all great versions! :D
nice Sunday, music.
Sounds a lot like Steve Winwood.
I think it's Ace Kefford
@@VirreFriberg You can't mistake Chris "Ace the Face" Kefford's soulful lead vocals on this track. Ace was also a great bassist and songwriter, have you heard his psychedelic classic "William Chalker's Time Machine" which was recorder by The Lemon Tree in 1968. It was produced by Andy Fairweather-Low from Amen Corner and Trevor Burton from The Move.
@@davidmacgregor5193 I've become a much bigger fan of the Move since I commented and I have one of their albums (Shazam) as an LP along with an original Swedish 45 (Night Of Fear) But yes, "William Chalker's Time Machine" was a rather good song, though not on the level as the Move. I prefer their earlier work with Ace Kefford, who in my opinion had the best voice. Strange he only sang on a few studio recordings, his presence on BBC and other various live performances is much more obvious.
.
@@davidmacgregor5193 Shame about Andy Fairweather-Low. It can't be much fun being wide eyed and legless . . .
WHAT A FREAKER_ LOvE ACE'S VOX....
Ace: what a voice!
It sure doesn't sound like Carl.
Always preferred this version. Love the sparse sound of the guitar
+Andy D Me too. I also love the warm sound of the bass.
+sgtmilko Yes, very warm bass, a really nice version, nice and melancholy.
This was the single
'tis done sir!
