What do you think about VIG also being a compliment of SCHD as well?

My primary holding is VOO, closely followed by SCHD, closely followed by DGRO, and SPYG bringing up the bottom.

I don't own DGRO but I think they're pretty good with their holdings. I prefer SCHD, although DGRO may be a better pick down the line. Im loading up on SCHD for now, being older. They're both good and safe. Thanks for vid, JP! I know this is one you like!

CVX is one of the the worst oil stocks to buy right now.. would go for Total Energies or Shell if you need to go for oil

You can do it mate! Almost there. My portfolio is going up. 20% YTD, which I think is slightly beating the S&P. I do like that my portfolio is going up, but it bugs me a little when my favorite stocks are no longer undervalued and I have to look elsewhere.

McDonalds is on my watch list but not a priority for me investing right now.

I've been invested in McDonald's for almost 10 years people were saying sell because revenue is dropping but they don't even do 5 minutes of research basically McDonald's plan was to convert a bunch of their corporate stores to franchise they had around 80% franchised in their goal was to get to 95% so each corporate store being sold decreased the revenue but the franchise are much higher profit margins

I just started contributing to McDonald's stock, $25 a week. It will take a while, but constant contributions are my goal to retirement dividends. Some months I may contribute$1000, but I am only able to budget $25 recently.

Their cash flow payout ratio is not 50%, its more like 100% right now. I don't know where SA gets this number from. Their CFO is around $10B, Capex around $5B leaving FCF of about $5B and dividends outflow about $5B too

Inflation 2% a year it's up 60-70% last 10 years.

Good vid JP! I'm more of a Home Depot guy. They raised their dividend recently and they seem more solid the last time I checked. You pointed out some good numbers from Lowe's. I'm still holding off on them for now. Thanks for all the info!

Stocks... Not the highest Yield, but never Missed, or Dropped, and "Steady As She Goes" is one of mine, TSX, paying $0.1257/Month. About a 17% Current Yield! It's one, from a fund family! My "Anchor" or "Base!" It has a Sister Stock, I have some, that is around can 23% or 24% Yield, paying $0.11335/Month. How do I find them? RBC Self Directed Investing Account, Stock Screener, Fundamentals, Dividends, Canadian, Sort Highest to Lowest! You'll find them, too! Also, US ETF's, have higher, even Crazy High, Yields! The Top Nuts in that Search, will take you well over "25% Yields!" If you can Stomach the "Risk!" I have 2 of those in play, now! One has a Yield about 20% Higher, than the other! I found, or selected that one first, so more of that is held, but I only picked it, because if its base Stock Relationship. The second, is no "Slouch", either, but both vary the payout each month, so are more like "Surprise Desert!" Delicious, but you wouldn't "Bank On a Fixed Amount Each Month!" I'm practically ONLY using DRIP on the Canadian Stocks, and Personal Reinvestment, (paying the Broker Fees) from the US Stocks and ETF's, as, they don't "DRIP" in Canada! But, I can use that cash, to buy the same, or other Stocks/ETF's; or convert some US$ to CA$, to buy more of the Canadian "DRIP" Stock, if I choose! I try and Grow 1-2 different items each month! I only am reinvesting at present, after an expensive vacation, but will return to adding external cash in, in the not so distant future! Even so, the account is growing, due to some great Payers in the Pot! Next Plan, is to try and set up Dividends that, from a broader Collection, pay Monthly, but each Week, something is Paying! Then, how close can I get that, to be equal to my current "Paycheck" each week! 🤔🧐 That is more like "The Long Game!"

DRIP's are better, if you want to grow a single Stock. If you want to Use Dividend $ to grow "Other Items", leaving "DRIP Off!" I do both techniques!
