The drawing looks nothing close to manga also I like the original artist who draw the character way better. The drawing the new artist draw is least beautiful than the original artist. RIght now Alexander looks least handsome then before.

I honestly think that Ellen was just getting tired of the series, so maybe she had the artist changes in the manga, and Vampire Kisses 8 (I believe, it has been awhile :s) was really shabby. She rushed the ending a ton and threw in a really weak and fast twist at the end. It really had no explaining anymore or detail. Very sad :( I still love the series though, but I pretend a lot didn't happen.

Volume 4`s coming out in September this year. :) Hope this new artist is better I don`t think Rem will be continuing the manga though :(

mmkay heres all i have to say. BULL! why did she change the artwork??? the old art work brought the punk/goth feeling to the book and the characters had way mre emotion in there expressions. its lacking in originality in the artwork. kinda looks like any ol' anime

@musicismyweapon1000 the manga has all the same main characters however it is a different storyline, Alexander parents aren't in the manga but they are in the sixth novel, they are interesting characters.

i have only read the chapter books the first 3.and i was wondering are the manga the same as the chapter books.also is vampire kisses blood relatives good or does it get better.like do alexanders parents like raven or not ? i just like cant wait to buy the book .i just want to know what happens .im pissed because i have to wait till i get money from my parents and that sucks.

@vtz102 its called Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell. Its from the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack, though this is the version they used for Lord of the Rings. Its called Requiem for a Tower.
