hey man, random stoned filmstudent from germany here, i got some constructive tips: 1. Please dont take this the wrong way but you gotta loose the hair. I looked at quit a few tapes of you now and i, completely based on visuals, would typecast you based on the hair. I think a buzzcut might suit you really well, you got a good headshape for thath and itll bring youre features int the jaw out. It also makes you look like more of a clean canvas which is nice so one can imagine you in any role. 2. Good Job with putting the camera higher up than before! Try to put in on eyelevel so the viewer is in a neutral position, not looking up to or down on you. 3. Try to use your main chamera on your phone, not the selfie camera. Itll be definetly worth it in terms of quality, overall look and 4. Try to stop looking at yourself in your screen, as a viewer we want to see a character in a world, not you trying to be that character (idk if that made sense but if you keep checking how your doing youre never really emersed in the character and vewers can feel those things). 5. Try to leave enough head room, over the thumb: [Extreme Close-Up: Almost no headroom.Close-Up: ~5% headroom.Medium Shot: ~10-15% headroom. Wide Shot: ~5-10% headroom, depending on the composition. ] 6. Try to understand what makes Pictures in Movies work, it not about you just being in frame but you being in the world we see through the frame. If you actively try to show things in frame you should either think about that when placing the camera and setting it up or not at all. Use what you have and if you want to show something, set the camera back a little bit before you have to hold something in frame in an unnatural way just for people to see it. 7. Based on what my actor friends and actors ive worked with have told me, watch movies man! Like a lot and the good ones, not like the "classics", yes the classics but not only, try to look for good character actors like jk simmons, willem dafoe or imo people like jake gillan hall, cillian murpyh or Leo Decaprio. Study how they work and what they tell you about the process if you can find anything in interview and such. 8. Have fun with it, dont be to caught up with yourself, do what comes naturally to you and built on top of that. 9. Keep it up, Ive seen you get better throughout your uploads. Keep your head up and keep krinding 😄
