I simply contact a few gun shops and ask them their best price for a certain firearm. Whoever can give me the best price shipped to my FFL wins. I totally understand you are in business to make a profit but I go to work everyday to earn a living. My dollar means just as much as yours so don't ask me not to shop around for the best deal I can find.

I'm a self employed plumber and simply stopped taking phone calls and doing free site visits a year and a half ago or so. And that's made me money. By saving me from wasting time on dead end leads. I respond to all texts and emails by finding out if the potential new customer wants a mutually beneficial relationship or is a time sink parasite. Granted I'm in a service based industry ( I instruct my customers to purchase their own bug ticket items in order to avoid the necessary markup I'd tack on) but there must be a strategy you brick and mortar guys could implement to cut out those types. Overhead and in this case inventory makes or breaks most businesses and the "something for nothing" crowd must be made to realize that. Otherwise it's a parasitic relationship not a symbiotic one. And that's how you get bled dry. No, the customer isn't always right and no you don't need every customer. Good luck!
