That road was intentionally damaged. there used to be 2 pipes that diverted the water under the dirt road and around the tree.

I go every year! Popotla , puerto nuevo, rosarito and ensenada are some of best places to eat on the west coast!!
Great food in that area is you like fresh seafood

Road is very good well Maintained High Ground clearance is not required
This is beautiful. We are thinking of driving out there in a few weeks, depends on how hardy the rental car is! Is the road high clearance?
Sadly the tree of wisdom is now full of water and you can’t go to pharaump the smooth way
Es impresionante como la laguna que se encuentra en el lugar dos veces al día se.llena y se vacía,al subir y bajar la marea,yo una vez me aventé a la laguna en una lanchita inflable,al recorrer el " río " que se forma al ir saliendo el agua va tomando velocidad,termine mas de 200 metros mar adentro NO LO RECOMIENDO es muy peligroso pues las corrientes lo pueden llevar a uno mar adentro aún más,por lo demás es una playa muy segura,y casi sin gente.......muy barato el ingreso y tiene baños y alberca de agua dulce,además de palapas con asador .....Les recomiendo también ir cuando hay Luna LLENA,se ve enorme al salir por atrás del Mar,y es cuando la marea baja hasta 200 metros de la playa!!!!!!También ahí cerca está el Valle de.los Gigantes donde están los sahuaros,no entren ahí si no llevan vehículo con doble tracción,la arena es muy floja,y las temperaturas en verano.suoeran los 40 grados.

yep your video starts out on a trail that I went up many many years ago pretty cool to see it'll definitely be cool to see the new Lodge when it's built can't wait no longer live in Las Vegas but I did for 7 years we'll go visit Mount Charleston again no doubt. very hard to beat Colorado when it comes to snow and mountains.....

Is there camping near by?
Outside of the monument, there are five Forest Service campgrounds located within Reds Meadow Valley. From north to south, these are: Upper Soda Springs, Pumice Flat, Pumice Flat Group, Minaret Falls, and Reds Meadow campgrounds. Sites in these campgrounds are $23 per site per night. All of these campgrounds are first-come, first-served with the exception of the Pumice Flat Group, which is reservable via www.recreation.gov.

any news on dogs allowed?
We saw several dogs on the trail Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Dogs are allowed on leash on the shuttle buses. All dogs riding the shuttle buses must also wear muzzles. Muzzles are available at local pet stores in Mammoth Lakes and at the Mammoth Mountain Adventure Center near the shuttle bus boarding area.

Hi! I am looking for a way across the large Cold Creek, not the one running beside the highway, you cross when you to Willow Creek from the Cold Creek Road. I use to fish that creek years ago but haven't been able to get to it since some one built a house and put a fence across the road. I'd appreciate directions . . . thanks. Nice video, but did I miss the creeks??
you can still get to the willow creek from Cold Creek Road just follow Wheelers Pass Rd Out of Cold Creek and it will take you to willow creek the house they built looks like the road is blocked but its not road is still there
