Sub 16 minutes has been achieved!!! It still had a lot of mess ups but I got 4 gold splits and crushed the last boss with my new strat. I also implemented a new route in 2-3 to save 3-4 seconds. I did miss the steak skip in 3-2 but I was able to skip another small jump later in the step up jumps.
All around it was a good run and I'm very happy with getting under 16 minutes. I'll probably leave the game at this time for now unless the past record holder comes knocking. :)

Run done on a Super Gameboy so it needs to be re-timed from 18:15 to 18:41. I finally got a decent run thru the desert stages but according to my Sum of Best I should be able to bring this down way more. Because I'm using the SGB I need at least a time in the mid 17's just to get it under 18 minutes. I'll do my best to try and achieve that.

New PB!!! I was getting so many good health drops that I was able to just blow thru Off The Wall and Dock and Roll. I lost a lot of time in Back to the Wall though with not getting the wall clip. It took forever for some reason. I'd like to get in the 10's but we will see. It has gotten hard to find time for speedrunning these days.

New PB! I was able to bring my time under 30 minutes, now I am working on getting it under 25 minutes. I definitely lost time in Loco Motion with falling off but I was trying out different routes and I'm still seeing what works best for this category.

I love Cool Spot but wanted to try something new. This category makes you get all the bonus levels and collect the letters. This run was a lot of ups and downs but I wanted to get below 30 minutes so this isn't the last run I'll do. I was so close.

Another PB for me, I was able to drop more than a minute off my previous time which was quite surprising. I got 2 gold splits but those two toy levels got me. With this time I was able to crack the top 3. I don't know if I can get 2nd place but I do want to get below 12 minutes at least.

I have been working on this category for a little bit now and it is very tricky. This is an old favorite game of mine from my childhood. I've been working on speedrunning this game with them help of the people on discord. I am no where near the WR but I have improved my time by a lot. I died way too many times and got lost a few times. I still don't have the route down or can achieve top speed on Wading Around but hopefully I will get top 5 time soon enough.

I finally was able to put a good run together. I was in disbelief that I was going so fast I missed stopping the timer so its off by a second. I know this can go lower cause my best possible time was estimated to be under 11 so a sub 11 is possible I just have to get my brain and fingers to work together. Run retimed to 11:13

I finally got my Sega out of storage and have been trying out this old favorite. Its taken some practice but I think I can bring the time down for sure. I had a bunch of small errors in the beginning and couldn't get the factory 2 or bat jumps to work. The bats will be the death of me.
