First came across Skinnyman through 'Tower Block dreams' on BBC 3 i think it was? Long time back now, think that was just before the album dropped? Council estate of mind was the soundtrack to my youth and it's nice to see Skinnyman is still doing well.

Skinny was a support act for The Streets at Brixton Academy 20ish years back. He was so different to anything else in the UK scene at the time. British MCs were more of a Jungle and Garage thing then. To be fair, he still is unique, and we need more positive artists like him. The first album gives me mixed feelings, still sounds good, but i had it in Prison so it makes me think of HMP Brixton, Lewes and Ford.
