You did a nice job, especially with the parting, they look great, and they will fluff out as they get older. Being that you have fine hair like myself, you shouldn't have blow-dried it beforehand, only because of the texture of your hair but they will be fine. Also, be aware, they will shrink... A LOT LOL! Good luck on the journey and stay with it because the end results will be worth it.

Maybe you should of did them without blow drying your hair. I was about to do my hair the exact same way last weekend but I blow dried my hair and it didn’t look like it did when I did it while my hair was nappy. I wish I could share the picture with you. Still looks cute though
