I am a gospel guitarist who pulls influence from blues, country, rock, jazz , and various other styles of music. This channel features my personal works, some of which are original songs, covers and guitar jams. My goal is to encourage people through music whether it would be to soothe a troubled heart or to celebrate the goodness of God through songs of praise. And sometimes I just like to turn up the volume and rock.
I am self taught and still learning. Whatever contribution I can offer to the music world is all I intend to do. Most of the songs on this channel are recorded and produced by myself and I play all the instruments and sing.

Not so good at playing it but it still sounds great. It only plays the old stuff.

Josh that's great that you have this and intend to play it. I've been playing pedal steel for over 30 years. It's a great instrument and you will love the tones you can get. Keep it up, more seat time practicing pays off.
Those Stringmasters have a unique tone. I play pedal steel and have several. My 1st old ShoBud had that tone. Sorry I traded it off.
This is awesome! Thanks for posting! Any chance you could make a quick video showing the pulling mechanism?
Grandpa as in Don helms?
No relation… that I know of
better than most boards
Nice pedal board, did you put your octaver before or after your drive pedals ?
Wellllll I love my baby, like the finest wine! I’m loving my darling ALL of the time cause she’s my sweet lil baby badoweeer badoweer yeah sheee’s my priiide & joy!!!
Nice work Josh. I've spent the last few weeks looking for budget pedal board options as I just bought a Tonex as was going to make a board for it. But now I think I'm just gonna do what you did and strap it down to a piece of ply wood or something. Thanks for the inspiration!
Great video man, greetings from Brazil.
spray paint it with a cool abstract design. the cables will be less noticeable. I am sure you have some spray paint cans kicking around
You gotta use sone duct tape on the pedal board if you're gonna use the word hillbilly!! 🤣🤣
I love it when I see people get out of their own way and do what they enjoy. This is a classic case of a guy who just wants to play his guitar, and doesn't let gear snobbery keep him from doing what he loves. My brother has the same mindset. He toured the eastern and midwestern US with a 1980's Peavey Stereo Chorus, a 1990's Digitech RP-3 multi-effect a pawnshop bought MIM Nashville Telecaster. I think his total investment was under $500. That cheap rig took him everywhere he wanted to go. When you're on stage ONLY OTHER MUSICIANS care about the gear you use. The other 98% of the crowd just want to hear music.
Nothing wrong with a MIM AXE lol
those Behringer pedals sound pretty good for the price. nice video!
Cool video! Brings me back to the golden age of youtube
Hillbilly plays a PRS Santana?
That's beautiful! Enjoy your handiwork!
Why don't you get your Reverb fixed? It's common with springs and easy to fix.
I love you uncle Joshua
Good job
Keep playing the blues Brother
