Thank you for sharing this most important information and education regarding desert vegetation. A most excellent presentation.
All this is obsolete , in situ recovery method is the future of mining ⛏️
Hoyt from a Coastal Umpqua
The nice thing about moving so much material they also get decent amounts of gold.
It is 3:47 AM, I'm watching a video about copper mining in Arizona. I've never been interested in copper mining, and I'm not from Arizona. What's my purpose? Is this worth it? I'm wasting my time.
great information. thanks. I would love to learn more .
Thank you! very interesting!
Excellent, video with useful information. I appreciate the reverence shown by our Native American brothers and sisters to nature, much for us to learn and embrace .
Uranium mining in Arizona has left its legacy.
whites are also freinds of the nature
Bless you. Very nice man. Very nice information specially on being thankful to the Creator.
Unmitigated bllsht. Ravings.
I like how he references and thanks The Creator. Many Natives were Monotheistic.

I 💕 the desert🤗
Thank you for sharing your ancestral knowledge!
Cool! Neat little bit of history there.
Amazing Navajo Nation Heyaneheyhey
Zellous environmentalists and unrealistic EPA regs were significantly killing jobs as well.
if a job or industry kills the environment it shouldn't exist :)
Sustainable mining? There is no such thing. The ore will eventually be depleted and then its over.
Electricity and plumbing in your house.

Your just a STAR 🌟 of a person I would like more like you in my life.
awww arent u sweet?
More on ALL of what you spoke of!! Yes. Medicine is all over this earth 🌎 we need to utilize the plants, get the wisdom and pass it on to the children.
On a 70 ° degree early spring day... could you imagine hanging out with this guy walking around the desert listening ... learning... hearing cool native folktales...how cool would that be?
That Would be amazing!! I would love to learn more about the spirit of it all.

@@ramonsalcedo6893 can you tell us what it is like friend?
@@ramonsalcedo6893 sounds cool Ramon
@@ramonsalcedo6893 thanks Ramon ....dang that sounds cool!!... I'm really into medicinal uses for native herbs.... especially for Arizona ... my home state ...I grew up in Phoenix...man I wish I could learn this stuff ...making sandals out of yucca sounds really cool.... actually watch a video about how to do it about 6 months back ....so I've heard that you can make hair shampoo / detergent out of yucca !!!!! I wish learn this things Ramon because I believe the United States is gearing up for a big collapse unfortunately.....I hope I'm wrong but at any rate I like the idea of living peaceably with nature .... fishing and hunting.... growing my own crops.... currently I do passive gardening, meaning I don't do a lot of pruning, I let the plant decide how big it wants to get, that kinda thing
If only I could be trying all these..
irrigation+rainfall = evaporation + transpiration + runoff + leaching Which one of these processes do Farmers really have control over during the growing season? If you have the ability to irrigate your sandy soils and water is cheap and plentiful, then you are fortunate and have some control on the left side of the equation. If you do not have irrigation, you must look at the factors on the right side of the equation to see what can be controlled or minimized to benefit your crop. Evaporation from the soil surface can be reduced with mulch or leaving crop residue on the soil surface. Transpiration is a function of the plant leaf surface area and the weather. Runoff is or should be minimal in sandy textured soils with high percolation rates. This leaves the leaching of water out of the root zone as the #1 controllable loss of moisture to your crop. Interrupting the downward movement of moisture in your soil by installing a "smart" barrier can greatly reduce the leaching of water and nutrients. SWRT subsurface membranes detain/retain up to 90% of irrigation or rainfall in the root zone for crop use by disrupting the gravitational movement of water in the soil while still allowing excess water to percolate and do not create anaerobic soil conditions.
I go hiking alone and once saw the birds fighting over the saguaro fruit in a june july morning. I saw the bones of a saguaro and its spirit must have talked to me, i used it to take down some fruit and omg it was DELICIOUS and beautiful in color.
Sounds interesting my man!
Amazing!
Thank you my friend....I grew up in Phoenix and just really disliked the desert because it just seemed to me so bare and lifeless but being a little older and wiser I know see it completely different!!!
I used to feel the same way, but I found leaving Phoenix helped me see otherwise.
It is a simple place, but yet has so much knowledge.
@@danielvibez4000 amen 👏👏👏
So now we know why the entire state of Arizona is a giant pit of toxic waste. It was because of mining. Uranium in the north, copper and silver in the east and south. Thousands of abandoned mines. Just fly over in a small plane, you can't miss them.
How much water do AZ mines consume yearly?!
They reuse the water over and over.
They do not reclaim the water. Reclaim systems are expensive to maintain, especially for a 24 hour operation. Usually used water is pumped away into pools or runoffs like washes.
@@EfiLiveLB7they are pumped back into pools to be reused . They would get shut down if they wasted the water like that
@Arizona92869 I've worked in mines. They only say they reuse water. They don't. There's alot the public doesn't know. They hire the best liars to speak to the public, called Public Relations. Just Peabody depleted the Navajo Nation Aquifer using thousands of gallons per day. Now there is no water table. Peabody walked away unscathed. Mining companies especially foreign companies cannot be held accountable. They'll just walk away from it.
Real propaganda clip. Copper to build war machines, grow the world refugee numbers, fill the bank accounts of oligarchs in fiscal paradises, not free college or healthcare or descent retirement pensions.
Exactly!!!
