Perham! Alum next door originally from Sebeka Doug. Well done on the community there.
We live in a time with plenty of grand challenges, with social media tools to enhance awareness and identify others who share similar concerns. With the understanding of effective group action described by Dean Laura Bloomberg, now I'm stimulated to find a challenge and a team and get busy. Thanks!

So TL;DR for this video: Addiction is a normal mental disorder where treatments vary in method and success and the public doesn't understand it well Was looking forward to this talk, and was disappointed. Not only did you not bring up really any myths or misconceptions about addiction, this talk was essentially only about alcohol addiction and I was looking forward to a general talk including other substances, gambling, video games, social media, etc. In particular I was interested in hearing about addiction formation (such as why people who use heroin or heroin-like drugs in hospitals and warzones rarely become addicted when they leave). Multiple times you said addiction is its own class of disease, yet you made multiple comparisons to other diseases in terms of heritability, chronicity, relapse, etc. You even compared it to an allergy, but provided no similarities and pointed out how different they're treated. Overall you provided no reasons its different than many mental health disorders, which have the same 'shame and stigma' association and incomplete understanding. The illumination of pop culture only showing the 'interesting' side a.k.a. relapse was interesting, but again, it was essentially just alcohol related. It seems like you have a problem with pop culture's portrayal of alcohol's effects/consumption/treatment rather than addiction in general
Professional Presence: John fills the first four minutes of his script with an AH every five to ten words or less with an additional sprinkling of ums. Then, Maggie lives on the UM train. Professional Presence?

We need a football and basketball team that can finally start winning.
In education, many of us are not even called in for an interview. It is difficult to get past the 40- screen online application. And when we are called in, we are called in three or four at a time--you read that correct--we are interviewed three or four at a time. Four of us are brought in a room where there is a panel of six teachers who ask each applicant the same question. There is not privacy or personal nature in this process. We need some really good advice in obtaining employment.
You have to be a member of LinkedIn to send an inmail. For most this is cost-prohibitive--It costs about 39.00 per month. The news on resumes and online presence is old news also. Again, we need a healthy, robust job market to absorb the surplus of graduates. In teaching, there are 400-500 applicants for every job: this is an impossible fact to overcome. In education, resumes are scanned by PeopleSoft software and they are looking for "key words" that match the job description.
All these "tips" have been known for decades and are not new. Good networking skills, good questions, etc. We need something novel and effective for the terrible conditions of the current job market. We need action not words. We need a healthy job market to absorb all of these surplus graduates.
This is a very cool house. Space is no more than what you really need for a couple or single person. Pictures on the walls would add to the comfort of the house.
