Nope. Panini doesn't have licensing with MLB so they can't use the team logos or names. Topps owns the MLB license, Panini has NFL and NBA. It's a shame because I love Donruss. Thanks for watching !

To answer your question near the end about rookies, players can appear in 24 games in one season and still be considered a rookie the next season. Or 6 games over the previous 2 seasons. That's why they have some games in and are still rookies. Fun fact: Ken Dryden won the playoff MVP award and then ROOKIE of the year the next season. Because playoff games do not count towards their rookie limits.
