Did you just equate being born to obtaining a higher education after years of work and dedication? 😂😂
Education is a human right just as water or their very life they are born with. The hard work people put into a degree gives it its value- but you argue if it was free that value of a higher education would be gone. I think that is stupid.

@@whiskeybrosaroundthetable Around 40% of jobs require a bachelors degree or higher and that is a growing number. My country has free University- I do not need to pay tuition, 12 years "provided" is not provided, it is compulsory. It is about providing a chance and anyone who wishes better for their country should wish to provide people with chances to be better. A learned mind lives a quality life.

I mean people should have access to more education regardless of financial value. Having a more educated society benifits everyone in the long run. There would be still scarcity but the bar would change which it honestly has over the last half century but theres tons of not finicially worthwhile degrees as there always has been. Point of an education system should be educate. The market determs whats that worth.
IMO Scarcity should come from the dedication of time to the craft, not $. Else only ppl who are getting degrees are the rich, which is not equal opportunity, and I think this is why more & more are getting disillusioned. I'd argue good employers care and less about your degree nowadays as a result of the $ gatekeeping too.
