THIS DOES NOT WORK! THERE IS NO WAY TO FREE MOTION SEW WITH A NORMAL FOOT !
Thank you for this video! I have been looking all night for the answer to my question and I think I’ve found it. :)
I’m mostly a quilter so I just embroider here and there to put a name or word on things. So when I do that I don’t use any kind of backing or stabilizer. But I’m about to put some words on a tshirt and some baby onesies and now I think I know my answer- yes, I need to stabilize but I even understand why now! Should I take most of it away after I’m done or leave it there?
Lovely concise demo and clear instructions.
I love these... off to your website to grab the pattern..thank you for sharing
Thank you! Glad you like them :)
Lovely work, but I couldn’t hear your voice.
I just purchased one of your patterns from your etsy shop and this video has been very helpful getting me started on my first embroidery project. Also, your voice is incredibly soothing and relaxing! I might have to just listen to this for the ASMR 🤗
I've never seen free motion embroidery done with the foot attached like this.
Doesn’t work
Talent is fantastic. Sorry I could not learn cause I could not hear you
Beautiful work and helpful tutorial. I just don’t see how you are able to do this free motion stitching using a regular machine foot.
really useful tut and i am going to give it a go. it seems like a lot of fun and originality will be injected into my sewing this way. thx a bunch.
Great tutorial. Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Did I completely miss the finished product?
Sorry if this is a stupid question but when your sewing in reverse you are just manipulating the fabric backwards not using the reverse button correct? What type of thread and bobbin thread are you using?
With the feed dogs lowered, the fabric can be moved in any direction.
Amazing work!
Great tutorial! Exactly what I was looking for!
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
omg... This is amazing!! Thank you so much for the tutorial!! Do you think that doing this type of applique work on clothes would withstand the test of time through wearing and machine washing? Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge! Very appreciated!

Beautiful job!!!
I love it! This project has inspired me to learn how to sew. To do this project does the sewing machine have to be a "free arm sewing machine"? or can it be a computerized machine? I haven't decided which machine to buy but I definitely want to be able to do these kind of projects. I am debating between Brother XL2600I or Brother CS8800PRW
Beatiful work! I dont speak english, but i understand a little! I love this tecnique and i'm going to try!
