Every Sensei had a student they connected the most with. Danny had Robby, Johnny has Miguel, Kreese with Tori, Kim with Devon, and finally Silver with Kenny. I think Silver and Kenny was the closest and honestly most effective, Silver saw potential in Kenny and effectively awakened that potential in months.

I don’t blame Johnny and Daniel from tricking Kreese with the whole “No Mercy MotherF**ker” trick, but I think that is pretty much why he’s still trying to take down Miyagi-Do instead of going on a redemption arc, I think this is the scene that changed his mind about a redemption arc. If they had just given Kreese the layers number, then there’s a good chance Kreese would’ve just left them alone in Season 6.
