This is so true! Several years ago I worked at a nursing home and one of the residents was in the middle stage of this disease and she thought i was her granddaughter. We was besties till her disease took its toll and one minute we friends and the next she didn't know anything and giving me a good cussin lol 😊 I miss her and her family, we had all grew close. I wish i had a way to get in touch with her family. I did go back some to say hi and 1 day i went she had passed 😢 Dementia sucks!

You have to go through the curls and cut off the tangles and condition them every day.. if you have synthetic curls use downy mixed with water and spray a light sheen on the braids..It works!

@@laylanii_ with synthetic hair yes. You have to realize this synthetic hair is made out of some of the same fibers that clothing is made out of. It's purely synthetic fiber. Putting real hair products on synthetic hair does nothing but make it matte and tangle. You have to meet synthetic hair where it is and use something on it that is going to replenish the FIBERS. Fabric softener mixed with water does wonders.
