Megatavius Destroyer had limited goals, such as destroying the city of Bakugan and New Vestroia only. As for Magmel, his goals were to destroy the Earth along with Gandalia, Nethia, and Vestal, and his goal was to expand and destroy everything, not to mention that He has countless armies of Bakugan and Megtogan that ended with his defeat
Actually mechtavius destroyer did what Magmel wasn't able to do. He destroyed the worlds. Brawlers was able to beat mechtogan because of Worton's Knowledge about time-travel.
Dan wouldn’t be an anime protagonist if he didn’t at least go through a dark side arc and they cooked in that regard so he definitely solidified himself as a true anime protagonist if yugioh had to do it than it only makes sense for bakugan to do it eventually Yugi went through it, jaden yuki went through it, yuya sakaki also went through it in his show its all a cycle hell even alice had to go an entire season struggling to control her dark side and the hatred in her eyes every time she became masquerade u already know she gonna start committing devious and nefarious acts
