I"ve live in Ikeja, near Airport Hotel, a compound of old Nigerian Texile Mills (NTM) in the '70. From Adeniji Jhons road going up there was a big road going to Agege on that road many big company Guinness and Dunlop and NTM., I was PIKIN 10 year old, now i'm 60 but nice memory of Lagos

@@BISOLAOLAGUNJU na so! arrived in NIgeria 1973 ( so long time ago!) i was 10 real PIKIN, my father was working at NTM, in the Agege motor road, my house was in Adeniji Jhones street, and i usually spend time at the Airport Hotel pool, or Cuontry club in GRA area to play tennis. My school was in Ebutte Meta.( Italian school) In that time road were "gallop street"😀 live from home at 5.30 in the morning to arrive at school 8.00 because of go slow so remember well well Maryland , Ilupeju, Yaba, Surulere stadium was on building , Ikoy, Apapa, Tarkwa beach, Victoria island. i remember also few yoruba word but for sure not how to write it. Ecaro, obolonlo? sce la fi any? omo nko? owa mbe! and also omo oibò pepe ififi pepe🤣. got an italian friend still live there in KIRIKIRI, he comes in Italy for holiday. it's over due to have a modern market. but it's still chaotic and really needs to be further organised and Nigerians must start to use measurement for everything rather than using stupid buckets to value what a kilo of beans or anything they sell. there isnt adequate ventilation inside one can smell the fish and meat stench hanging in the air.
