It was easily the easiest pick ever this year for MVP - Statistically, it’s not close. Jokic was the only player in NBA history to be top-10 in all four categories in a single season. Jokić was the only player in the league that averaged at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. He's the sixth player to ever put up those numbers in a single season. He led the entire league in on/off offensive efficiency at plus-18.9 points per 100 possessions. He also finished first in total plus-minus at plus-682. Jokić recorded the second-most double-doubles in the league with 68 and the second-most triple-doubles with 25. Jokić was FIRST in: VORP (Value Over Replacement Player) PER (Player Efficiency Rating) Win Shares Offensive Win Shares Box Plus/Minus Offensive Box Plus/Minus Defensive Box Plus/Minus. His VORP this past season was the 7th highest EVER in NBA history. His PER of 31 was the ONLY PER over 30 by any player this year. KEY STAT: Every single Nuggets starter had a higher effective field goal percentage with Jokić on the floor compared to him off it.
Ok “analytics” man I’ll EASILY make my argument…Luka won the scoring title and AVERAGED damn near a triple double doing it. Both players are unstoppable in their ways but instead of bringing up all these “irrelevant” numbers just like Max Kellerman I actually got to watch Luka Live drop a 73 point triple double. You’re right, the MVP is a regular season award but that’s the PROBLEM. I get it, Jokic is unstoppable but Luka literally has been carrying this team on his back despite the amazing performances from Kyrie Irving. Luka made everyone else around on the floor BETTER too except Kyrie. Luka has also improved his defense especially in the playoffs. I’ve actually seen BOTH of them play in person and both of them are unstoppable but in my opinion Luka has the better overall season than Jokic

No hating you just don’t like to give the players there proper slice of responsibility. The point guard position is the most demanding responsibility wise as you have the most control over the game. @@willtrill20 The problem is the Lakersneed better defenders and can't always play the Vando was hurt card. They need a better coach too. Also if they don't get better defenders, AR, Dlo and everyone needs to train on their defense as much as their offense and not their offense more than defense, but a balanced amount. It doesn't matter if their small. If they were solid or good defenders,, they could easily force more steals and get more fastbreak points, that's the difference of this series. If they got better at defense studied Jamal and made his shots uncomfortable, they could beat the nuggets. They just don't have the desire to improve on defense. As the leader LeBron needs to encourage his team to work more on the defensive end. He needs to not only be that example in the post-season as he was this series against the nuggets, but he also needs to show that in practice he needs to show that in locker rooms. LeBron is the one who vcan help this team get better on the defensive side.
