Просмотров 136 тыс.7 лет назад
In this video, I show you step by step, how to make a zero clearance throat plate for a Dewalt DW745 Table Saw. This is an easy upgrade that will result in cleaner cuts, especially when cutting plywood perpendicular to the wood grain. It will also improve the safety, by not allowing thin cut strips to fall back into the blade throat. For more information, please visit: www.woodworkingexplained....

Elmer's School Glue vs Titebond Type I Wood Glue
Просмотров 80 тыс.7 лет назад
Have you ever wondered if school glue is stronger than Titebond Type I Glue? Well, today we're going to give that a test. School Glue is made from Poly(vinyl acetate), which is commonly called PVA. PVA is a vinyl polymer that has great adhesive properties for porous materials such as paper and wood. The adhesive that seals envelopes and holds wallpaper to the wall is PVA. It is even used as a p...

Yonico is an American company and work great. I have done crossgrain cut in almost every wood and are smoother than 600 grit sandpaper could get a piece of wood. Quit spreading misinformation and get your facts straight. Plus if you’re going to compare stuff. Keep the speed of the router, the same.

You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice ruclips.net/user/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

Great saw especially ruclips.net/user/postUgkxxnKxcY0vm4xjW8xkPbjaHuKt10gr-wG_ considering how drastically cheaper it is than every other track saw on the market. Only things I would mention is replace the blade immediately, the 24 tooth blade supplied leaves a lot to be desired.

Hello, i have a DW749IRS table saw and after installing the anti-kickback assembly on the blade guard attachment, for some reason the spikes only on the left side of the plate are getting caught and stuck on the throat plate when i raise and lower the blade. I have adjusted the throat plate number times and have checked to make sure the throat plate is not bent. There is a groove on this particular throat plate made by Dewalt in which the spikes from the anti-kickback assembly is getting caught on. Please help i cannot find a solution anywhere and have found no one else who has had this issue on the entire internet. P.S it IS installed correctly, and i called a Dewalt service station and they just said to bring it in, but i wanna fix it myself b/c the drive is just way to far. HELP from ANYONE is welcome. Thanks

I've used Elmer's glue a number of times on simple wood repairs around the house and I've never had it underperform wood glue. As long as it penetrates the grain and it's clamped properly then it should be ok
