Charity Car Cruise Raises $6000 for the Flying Doctors and Bushfire Relief!!
Over 127 cars and 220 people attended the annual 2020 Limestone Coast Unique Car Spotting Charity Cruise.
This year we raised money for the RFDS Patient Transfer Station in Mt Gambier and The Kangaroo Island Mayoral Relief and Recovery Fund.
With an overwhelming response from the public we were able to raise $3000. With the additional generous anonymous donation dollar for dollar for the amount raised, each charity recieved the full amount raised.

My 4 year old aon and I have our first attempt at a Hot Wheels Mega Track. Using 90% of the track we have, I think we did pretty well. We are looking to buy more track and making these bigger and bigger.

I did a day trip to Tailem Bend for the GT Sprint Event at The Bend Motorsport Park, and what an amazing place and event it is. The range of cars on and off the track was truly unreal. If you look at the ZB as a Mazda 6 competitor and not an SS replacement, its a great car.
Not sure why anyone would compare it to a single badge in a range. It's comparable to the Commodore VF because it's actually the same size.
The Buick variant we got in the States is a complete shitbox too. It’s overpriced here in the USA as well.

The new Commodore is German and services and parts are very expensive. In contrast the last Australian made Commodore was very competitive in spare parts and service pricing. You will be much better off buying a second hand Australian made Commodore rather than buying this German made complicated piece of rebadged under-powered, lightweight and downright ugly piece of shit. Goodbye from an American born patriotic Australian.
under powered? there's no V8 of course; the Z.B's 2.0Ltr has 10KW more than the previous 3.0L, and the ZB 3.6L RS-V puts out 40KW more previous 3.6L SV6.

Kia should no longer be considered as inferior to Japanese or even European cars. They are quality built feature rich vehicles with an industry leading warranty (7years) which is hard to beat. They are exceptionally well made and extremely reliable. Which is why I sold my Audi and just purchased the new Kia Cerato GT. I love it! 👍

Agree totally David. The quality is exceptional for the price and the driving experience is far better than a lot of cars I have had which cost twice to three times as much. There is so much Audi design looks to this vehicle which is a reflection on Kia getting the chap from Audi to design these cars. Sounds like you are enjoying your car as much as I am mine.
I got my platinum graphite GT hatch in feb. absolutely love it! definitely the best value in its class! Fit n finish is far better than expected for a Kia. It’s good fun through the twisties (if U turn of the lane departure beeping) and the little 1.6 packs a punch!

@@simquicky3448Beautiful colour and agree about fit, finish, driving experience. So thrilled with mine and I look forward to getting into it and driving it as much as I can. Mine is the Pearl White sedan. I have had several black, red, grey, silver cars so thought a change in colour would be different and love the white. Love the look of the sedan. Not seen another GT in either hatch or sedan on the road until yesterday which is strange given the reviews and endorsements from those who have bought them.
You should review kia rio gt-line. Got one recenty and its dam good for the price.

It is a great car. Wasn’t impressed for all the “popular” reasons just like everyone else, but after actually driving one (I ended up test driving all the models) I bought a CalaisV. Two months on & 12k on the clock & still loving it.

What that matters the most is the new "Commodore" is NOT a rear wheel drive car that many die-hard Commodore fans have remembered. The Vauxhall eXtreme Racing surely is a good car but in its own rights, NOT as a big Aussie rear drive drifter. It's basically a front-wheel drive with all-wheel drive trojan tech. I don't think engines really matter but Holden should've find another rear wheel drive based sedan but instead got a front wheel drive Vauxhall Insignia (I know the VXR is AWD). I've seen drivers trying to provoke a drift the AWD... Vauxhall but it understeered like a typical front wheel drive car! Who would want that?
It is actually as big and comfortable as the previous Commodore's before it. I'm pretty sure your understanding of AWD was read up on Google "hey Google find me some bullshit story about how bad AWD'S can be" I've literally owned and drove Commodore's from 78 until the end. I bought myself an Awd German car back in 2014 and would never degrade the cars. But to say front wheel drive cars all understeer is an ignorant and uneducated biased assumption. possibly based on watching top gear from your comfortable experienced recliner.
@@educational-101 The Insignia is a good car but the Australian GM Holden put the Commodore name on it which is a big mistake and it's proven by sales. Due to such low sales, the the "ZB Commodore" is off. To many die hard Commodore fans, those cars have front engined rear wheel drive for many years, many decades. They can do the usual drifts and circuit races. Honda Integras and Civics are front wheel drives and so too VW Golf GTIs (Just to name a few). Having said that can you have that kind of handling on big, heavy sedan? That's where it can go wrong for them at least. Personally Holden should've kept the Insignia model name and let Commodore name go in peace as Ford already did with their Falcons which is "loosely" replaced by Mondeo (keeping the name as well). The AWD version of the "ZB Commodore" WON'T fool therm!

ZB is NOT a commodore should of dropped the badge and called it what it is the German Opel shit box. Holden big wigs admit that you were wrong and let the commodore name RIP!!!.
At least Ford (AU) already did that with their Falcon. It was "indirectly" replaced by Mondeo and kept the Mondeo name on it! Holden should've left the Insignia name on their new car.

Ex-owner of VT, VE, new own of the Tourer, and it is a real good car! Ye ye ye, it's not locally made Commodore that we know anymore. But beside that, is a really nice car! Fun to drive!
