Hello, with respect to the pyramid, I understand what core is, but what is the difference between fashion and trend/newness items? Could someone share examples, please?
I know this comment is months late lol but I’m just starting to learn about range planning myself and core refers to the essential items, fashion is referring to trending items, and newness is referring to experimental items. So for example a classic black jacket could be a core item, but then maybe red is a trending color so you could have a red jacket, and then for newness that might look like you experimenting with the coats design like a scarf jacket.
One of the speakers talked about planning and executing at a store-level / channel-level / pieces-level to be as accurate as possible. But is that actually practical for large players in the market such as next, m&s, new look?

To the blonde : I dont think being excited about the growth of e-commerce due Covid and the many deaths from it is quite inappropriate. Calm down lady.
A suggestion for you guys: try different thumbnails for the videos that pop out more. Take a look at your channel's list of videos and you'll see nothing that stands out. It's even hard to decipher what each video is about unless carefully reading through them. I know you have good content otherwise, so it's a shame you don't get a lot more views.
