@@delboywowsers Ill start by saying, thats a great question. This is my first Feral druid. Since it was a fresh server movement, I went with something way out of my comfort zone. So ideally you would use it if you can accurately time your opener. You have a 2 second wait on energy gain. If you want to maximize this i would suggest getting a timer via luna. A lot of times the tank will move or the mob will fluctuate where the back is, also being in stealth it slows you down making you vulnerable to be pulled out of stealth by aoe attacks so using that before hand is risky if there is threat of that. Since if your not at 100 energy before opener you would lose dps. So to me it can be a gamble and a hassle wo the timer. However i do recognize it gives a slight boost when you are good with the timing. Honestly if your picking an aspect of this playstyle I would say more power shifting and not wasting my energy often cause I was inpatient. To be fair i hadn't been in mc since 2012 was the last time, new class and spect, not having timer, my mc mod pack was missing. Also being the first time with the guild I'm going to chalk a lot up to nerves lol. It was supposed to be chill run to get us working together. I have been working on the timing wo the timer, here and there but it was far from my mind when raiding this night.

@@darthunicron using tigers fury isnt a slight damage increase it is massive, especially when you are undergeared +40 base damage is immense , at 1:03:26 you are stood behind a boss pressing claw, shred is your best ability by far, you dont need any addons to press shred shred powershift, i think you are struggling with energy issues because you are using claw and you see you have 30-40ish energy left so you stay in form to use it, you would see massive improvements if you just took claw, rake and rip off your bar completely. Claw is 45 energy Shred is 48 energy, but the damage difference is incredible. Also you are 5points waiting for energy to use ferocious bite, at 5 combo points that is where you powershift no matter what as the ferocious bite will do 2.7 extra damage for every additional bit of energy above 35. I am sorry if i am coming off as a know it all i am just trying to help, for your first MC since 2012 you did amazing i am only trying to give you pointers as a way to see you become a king druid on the fresh servers. 2 addons you might love are Druid Bar Classic, so you can see how much mana you have left even if you are in cat form, the other which is a 50/50 if you will like it is "Hear Kitty" it plays a sound effect like a violin but when you get an extra combo point proc it will be way more easier to know as the violin sound effect is telling you :)

@@delboywowsers For sure, I appreciate your advice especially for people like me that go off of icy veins and wowhead guides, (math on redit lol) then when I get to know the character better I branch out. I should have had the bis helm on at what 40? I didn't know why someone would use it till I got to level 53/54 when I downloaded bis to start pre bis farming. That is actually the first time I read the guide and learned to power shift lol, There is a video of me clumsily learning it and loving the druid for the first time. To add a little context as well I had hit 60 Thursday but I power leveled form 53 on monday seeing as I was loving the new found abilities, the raid was Saturday. One question because I think its important for me and new people to read, (my claw is 40 eng) but sometimes I feel especially not on boss fights, but the tank will turn him or the agro is bouncing and I cant land shreds so I panic and just hit the claw as you see me do (or accidently hit it due to soloing habit like you see here) to spend the energy to get the combos and/hoperfully free attacks from omen. Or is it just better to save until you can land that shred, (I try to not let my energy go over 90 when building and is that wrong?)

@@darthunicron if the tank moves the mob at all i would just stand behind it and shred, if there is a boss that starts with 1-3 adds then using hurricane even in full feral gear still does decent dps, you will only ever do really good damage on single target boss fights, but if you powershift and shred you will have a big dps increase, for your first MC since 2012 i understand you would be nervous to ass pull anything and therefore wouldnt stand behind mobs/move and potentially pull imp pack etc. Like i said before i think you did awesome and i am only trying to give pointers :)

Ya i literally landed, watched him land and I started killing my first mob didn't think he would engage and he was all juiced

@@darthunicron its RAMPANT right now ingame, I've been told to more or less F off by blizzard after writing a ticket about it.

@@darthunicron The guy's level 1 and has 1 spell, the mob you're killing drops a spell and he picks it up. He is not at all juiced. This is just OCE lag.
