Amon Did Nothing Wrong
That character wasn't a monster, he didn't seem to use bloodbending on animals anymore and to be fair he used it against those who first tried to attack him but what I don't like is that he used it on civilian benders

When you think about it, that ending is pretty dark for a kid's show. I wonder, what were your thoughts on Amon's death? how did he know that his brother was going to comit murder/suicide? I mean, why else did he shed a tear? And if he really wanted to start over with his brother, wouldn't he try to stop him? Those are some questions i havent heard people talk much about. Just wanted to know what you thought. BTW, loved the vid!

Amon and Tarlock were booth very well writen characters, that were scrapped so quickly since LoK was ment as a Mini series so they planned the entire plot into 12 Episodes and having them survive would left the Story unfinished as People would want to see what happened of them. For the Scene itself i assume after Tarlock had time to think in his Cell about how he recognized his own Brothers bloodbeding grip and how he was the one to permanently take away his bending he knew that their Father suceeded in turning them ruthless Monsters like himself. Who forced the Brothers to bloodbend each other, and tourture animals in order to master something for his personal path of revenge. He knew that it would not end there, and decided to end the cyrcle, so they won't "Start over" like Yakone and raise another pair of poor children into becoming like them.
The ending was simply rushed for the sake of passing the flame to the next villain. I also feel that the serie would have been better with Amon as the sole villain (him being the dark avatar thus explaining his power to remove habilities) and also keeping the problematic of benders vs non-benders.
