This is the third series in the Model A family. It replaced the red and gold banner with a black and gold one. From 1902 onwards the reproducer was one from a Model C phonograph.

A demonstration of a circa 1926 Mikiphone portable phonograph, part of the phonograph collection at the Stanford Archive of Recorded Sound (library.stanford.edu/ars). Built in St. Croix, Switzerland, around 100,000 of these phonographs were produced between 1924-1927.
