Foreign Trained Lawyer in Canada - The NCA Process
I hope you never stop reading. I subbed to your YTchan and liked the vid. If you can, please can you announce this book giveaway? It begins on Goodreads this coming Monday. This is beneficial to your readers who might like to read it and apply for our sponsored literary analysis project. The book is Bleeding Stubs (by Donald Besong). He is a new African author.
Can one apply from his or her home country or must be in canada
Amazing presentation. I have visited several African countries and read some of the novels. I just finished reading Alain Mabanckuo's Blue-Blanc-rouge. I read it in French. I understood it although my French is limited.
I love Ant Hills of the Savanna (Chinua Achebe). It is what Professor Ben-Fred Ohia in Port Harcourt calls protest literature. Absolutely grasping!
Thank you for celebrating and embracing the richness of our culture through literature.
Hello, good morning I have LLB where is the way forward for me. Kindly help me with your number for a chat
This is such amazing information. Thank you! Please could you do an updated version of the process has changed or has any updates
Can u guide me in my process to becoming a lawyer
Please share the process like you said in your first video 🙏
How long did this process take in total?
Hello Pearl, nice job done there. However, I need clarification on some grey areas. How are transcripts from Uni and law school gotten to the NCA? Is it the applicant or the institutions?
How do I apply for articling from Nigeria?
wow I love this❤
I am a Zimbabwean who has a South african law degree I did attend law school in south africa what can I do
That was a very good video. I don't know if you heard of Alain mabanckuo, E.C. Osondu, Aminatta Forna, Camara Laye, Celeb Azumah Nelson, Maaza Mengiste, Brian Chickwava, Uwen Akpan, Chris Abani, Helon Habila. If you haven't read them you should. There amazing
Wow. Our magazine might need those books and even include them in our educational projects. One of our best this year is Bleeding Stubs (by Donald Besong.)
Please read this novel and get a feel of the kinds of novels that sponsor our Africa projects. Also, name more books from other authors we can explore and include in our projects.
@@AfricanLiterature-qq3ye I’m going to try and read it today since it’s 16 pages lol
@@AfricanLiterature-qq3ye I read "Bleeding Stubs" It was really good. Lasso was a very interesting character His ego almost killed him. His lucky he landed on the back of the zebras after the venom from the snake. I loved the whole idea of them learning Braile just incase they lost there sight in battle. The Colonel I think planted the jogger to. watch and see if Lasso would scale section F. What do you think ?
@@francissemazzi1530 Yeah, I am suspicious about military bosses like Colonel Mvodo. One of our students also suspects that if Africa ever OFFICIALLY works with the CIA, as depicted in the story, that would be the very end of Africa. Of course, there are CIA employees or just their mules here in Africa, but it is not official from our governments' points of view. In the Bleeding Stubs story, the government is actually working hand-in-hand with the CIA.
Dear Lady, may you post an update?
Thanks New subscriber!😊
Hi...quick Q, after NCA exam and articling, what comes next?
After llm cl how long is the post study work permit
How is journey so far. Any stigma??
Hello 😀 Can you make a video about your favorite books of all time? You would make me very happy. Hugs from Romania❤
Is there any age bar?
thank you very much for great information ❤😊
I got a 2nd class lower in law... Can I still apply for a llm in common law and then write the nca exam...
This was helpful. I am working with a weird branch of literary lawyers. They read novels and then find mis-representations of tribal culture and then sue for this. They then invest a small percentage into the tribe. There is an amazing novel we are now analysing. Maybe if my colleagues agree I should tell you the title so you can read it.
Teach. I have been to African twice for Evangelism. After those books we have to move on to the Holy Bible, madam.
Keep spreading the knowledge.
As i am in the last sem of my law school, can i apply for the assessment? Or should i wait till my results come out?
You're so pretty Mashallah 💗✨
How many years does it take to complete the entire 4 stages?

Wowowooooooo
I have a question. After the NCA process what pathway did you use to move to Canada? Looking forward to your response
I want to know as well. If it's a pathway on it's own...
I'm Angolan and its so sad that I can't find books from other african countries. I hope one day I can read all this books and have them in my personal library one day. I enjoyed this video so much God Bless
Same. Do you have some books that you can recommend from your country?
Great video, Thank you for sharing. I started the process last November and this has been very help. I can't wait to binge watch all your videos.
Does progressive mean subscribing to whatever the "West" deems progressive?
Thank you for doing this video. I’m diversifying my bookshelf and it’s really important to hear other voices!
Congratulations! How many years did everything take please?
Thank you for this. I had no idea where to start.
Thank you for sharing these recommendations! I'm currently reading She would be king, and even if I love the story, I must say it's not that easy for me since English isn't my mother tongue
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I read Homegoing and I really loved it.
Thanks a ton, Pearlossy! I enjoyed watching this.
You should check out this podcast 'Caught Readhanded'! It's a bunch of West African professionals in their mid-20s that discuss African fiction, poetry, and even some non-fiction! It's super interesting and they also have an instagram @caught_readhanded where they post what they are reading for the month. It really motivated me to get back to my childhood reading habit this year and I'm so happy. Thank you for your video and looking forward to your remaining series! A book I read this year and loved was 'My Sister The Serial Killer' by Oyinkan Braithwaite. It really made me think very deeply about how far we would go to protect the ones we love even at the expense of our own morals. God bless you and keep up the great work (also looooove your eyeliner wooow!).
1.Do we need GIC for LPP? 2.Can we work part time for living expenses while doing LPP? 3.What if I can’t get job in 8 months? 4.How long can I stay in canada after the completion of LPP?
I really enjoy reviews of African literature!
