The new Welch Allyn vital sign machines are installed. This is a quick overview. The Map will be calculated in Epic after it pulls into the system. You MUST log in to have it chart your vital signs and calculate the MAP (under mean BP rather than MAP).

Quick how to on the new VS machines. You must sign in to get the data automatically charted, and epic will calculate your mean blood pressure (MAP).

Andrew shows us a couple additional tips and tricks to work with the beds and bed alarms. Did you know the beds have a sensor on them? If that sensor gets dirty, the bed won't lower all the way, or will lower, and then go back up. Andrew shows us how we can take care of that.
