Just finished a Tukhavchevsky playthrough yesterday. It was the most fun plauthrough I HoI4 that I've ever had. *spoilers* Crushed Finland, created ComIntern, reunited Russia. Then the Oil Crisis happened and, to my surprise, the Soviet volunteer divisions steamrolled all of the American, Japanese, and Nazi volunteers sent to support their proxies. So Pan-Arab Yemen, Oman, Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Iran, and Sudan all took power in their respective states. Pan African Congo and Cameroom also joined. Kazakhstan went socialist w/out my help. Thought the game was over now that I thoroughly won the Oil Crisis and created a corridor of communism from Russia all the way to the heart of darkness. But then Italy invaded the Syrian Republic and the ComIntern and all of the Pan Arab countries intervened against Italy, so this massive war began between Italy and its proxies vs the entire independent Arab world supported by as many volunteer divisions as I could send to each Pan Arab state. Italy kept naval invading various coasts, but they would get bogged down by the terrain and my volunteers would retake the ports, thereby dooming 5-7 divisions at a time. Over the course of years, the Arab Alliance slowly pushed Italy from their territory and then we actually invaded Libya. By the time the fighting ended, it was 1975, the Arabs lost 370,000 men combined while Italy lost 280,000 along with the entirety of its colonial Empire outside of Europe. Almost all of Africa, the Middle East, and Russia are socialist or communist. Awesome. Freaking awesome.
