RC aircraft enthusiast. If it flys I like it. Cheap to expensive, simple to complex, slow to fast; I don't care as long as it's fun.
Ultra Stik maiden
Flys great! No bad habits. What can I say; flys like a Stik. Lands nice and slow too even with the 40cc twin. Highly recommend to anyone that likes the Stik family. Thanks for taking the video Sean Lybarger.

Waco Maiden Unedited

Phoenix Waco F5C with Saito FG-21 gas four stroke. No editing, first flight with bouncy landing. This aircraft is a real floater, it just didn’t want to land. 😆 Even when I bounced it wasn’t near its stall and had full control. Those of you that land perfectly every single time please keep your comments to yourself. There’s always at least one guy running his mouth. 🤣 You know who you are troll.

sounds like a 2001-SRN tornado siren
Would be a cool alarm tone for the gramps
as a kid there was this thing (toy i think) that had this exact instrument on it and i loved the sound.. i cant remember what it was tho.

@@ebaytube2317 Thanks.
Is it possible to get a 3d model?
@@zanpust5195 no fancy 3d printing here. Just modified the siren and the center faux fuel tank that comes with the kit.
Amazing! How do you active it?
I added a cheep siren from Amazon, and attached part of a fuel tank/ordinance that came with the aircraft. Then it’s controlled with a switch that provides voltage when it gets the radio signal to do so, and powered on a separate small battery.
Do you go full throttle and then let off once in the air?
It’s actually best to hand launch it per the instructions. The take off in this video is not typical and it’s difficult to achieve. Rarely does it work this well. 😁
@boneswamped yeps agreed. Mine I've only gotten off the ground once and I had 3 others hold the parachute to do it lmfao
Yo why is ma grandpa not scared ? He said that he fought in WW2 in France 🤔🤔
Is not working Like this
No weight was added for CG on this aircraft. I was able to move components as needed for CG. The engine is actually on some spacers for clearance, and the model was slightly nose heavy even with the canister. I also used the aft position for elevator and rudder servos. Recap… no added weight to this model. Hope that helps.
To get CG in tolerance did you have to add any weight?
I’m not sure about that; a quick check on the Saito website will probably provide your answer. I always use gas for anything this size or up as opposed to Nitro. In fact; I don’t even use Nitro anymore, it’s either electric or gas these day.
You play Jericho trumpets to make you're grandpa having ptsd But you remember you're half-German
Yo grandpa why aren’t you scared :grandson I was a pilot :when? : Second World War junker 87 pilot i like the sound

That flys just great..no i wont comment on the landings..that will get better with more flights.. Im going with saito fg19r3 in mine comes in at 5.2kg..heavy it seems but seeing how easy this plane takes off and floats well..i wont have any problems..will be using either 13x8 or a 14x6 on my engine..great job
"You should shit yourself, NOW!"
that's actually funnier than the original lol
Where you bought it
Lol I can't get flaperons going on mine. My left flap came out the box reversed. I have to unreverse it for flaperons, but when I activate flaps the left flap goes up instead of down 😅
Each servo has to be in its own channel. If yours is reversing it’s likely on a Y harness for the ailerons and flaps.
Imagine you playing that plane on Poland. The hole country start to fear
Hello. I like the idea! Does it really take of easy? Do the strings get tangled? What is the flight time? Is it really worth buying or is it a novelty??
@@rewirerc5399 it absolutely does not take off easy. Yes tangles happen, but can be sorted easily with a little patience.
Phoenix Waco f5C with 160 cm wingspan. Nice 👍

You will need a brushed motor speed control as well.
I just got this plane. Were you using a 15" prop and also did you find the plane nose heavy with the recommended CG at120mm back? Thanks trying not to crash on the maiden.
Hit the FLoooooor in Poland.
Nice job buddy...........:<))
Thanks Chris, I was actually just playing around with an editing app. I am looking forward to flying the aircraft though. I enjoy your videos.
Well Mike ..it looks as if you have that app under control ..just got to simply fly now :>)) What was the APP ?? Happy Landings@@boneswamped
That mini siren is actually a vixen horns ms-190.
Correct; it’s a vixen horn found on Amazon. VXS-9050c. The cover was removed to save weight.
Me: mom, grandpa's under the table again! Grandpa: THEM NAZIS IS COMIN' FOR ME BOY! YOU GOTTA HELP ME TAKE THAT STUKA OUT!
AIR RAID!! AIR RAID!!
Why does it sound like a Q2B fire truck siren though....
Because it is a Siren very similar to what you’ve mentioned only smaller. This is the reason for adding a speed control to adjust RPM to achieve the best sound in flight. When the aircraft is flying you get the added cool factor from the Doppler effect. The full scale actually had two sirens at different RPM to each other which made it sound even more menacing. Unfortunately due to the principles of sound travel there’s no way to perfectly replicate the full scale this small. Hope that answered your question.
@@boneswamped very cool pyschics, thanks

The fact it's a part of a bomb lol like if you didn't notice
That was primarily a matter of mounting location. The dummy bomb was in that location so I used a portion of the bomb to mask the siren. Originally the nose cone of the bomb was to be used as well, but it reduced the sound too much.

@@thatdumbass8974 ah yes the LuftWAFFLES
@@Madvlad-h7q that is the joke
Lol
I’m glad that they’re back.
Cool
Have you ever tried reverse thrust in the air?
Yes, I do it often. It’s fun, slows the aircraft very well in level flight. Doesn’t do much if diving besides make a tremendously terrifying noise, which is just as fun.
@@boneswamped Any videos? Sounds awesome haha
