Complete jetski engine rebuild! 2000 Kawasaki stx1100 di
Просмотров 322Месяц назад
In this video, I go into extreme detail on how to rebuild a jetski engine. This specific jetski is a 2000 Kawasaki stx1100 di. You can use this video to learn how to build any jetski engine. Make sure to read your manual and follow it. 0:00 Intro 1:00 Splitting cases 2:22 Removing crankshaft 6:31 Inspecting crank seals 7:07 Cleaning crankshaft 14:33 Cleaning the cases 19:10 Putting crankshaft b...
Nice work, the only feedback I have is that thing should be grounded and GFI instead of two to conductor speaker wire, you are dealing with water and up close in personal with the metal cabinet 🔌⚡️😳😬😵💫
Was it worth making? I like your set up and video
24:45 i think you will regret the direction you installed the plugs . If the pump is plugged up and the switch is not! 😮
dude not a chance that’s the cheapest one u could find that thing is mint
A piston that is to small will bounce back and forth in the bore and pit the cylinder bad. I doubt that thing ran long.
there’s no way it ran in the first place lol
Oil burner. Need to get a electric one
Somebody watches big time lol
Lmfao, i was not expecting that.
me neither
Nice work!
Thanks!
Calling bs on the "cheapest 2 stroke" lol
im not considering it had no compression. people assume rebuild or destroyed engine when it comes to no compression two strokes. and thats an older rm, they dont go for much as it is. itd be hard to get more than $1400 for that.
@@outlawm82 you can easily find 2 strokes for 400-900 dollars lmao
@ yeah thats why i said 1400 max.
it was $600 hard to find a 125cc two stroke for less than that
informative AF! Quick COUPLE things… first, If you have banshee cases in the vid that will create views and secondly, IF VAPOR BLASTING ISN’T ones DAILY JOB, use your local guy so YOU CAN DO WHAT YA KNOW and just pay the INVOICE when it’s DONE🧾…
The reason i decided to make this vapor blaster was they quoted me $500 to vaporblast all the banshee stuff I wanted blasted. it cost me around $500 including the air compressor for this cabnet so it alr payed for itself. If you are doing one rebuild and dont do rebuilds often i would say send it out to someone but if you are rebuilding stuff regularly you NEED a vapor blaster we have used it so much recently.
Like the first guy… only constructive criticism. When you put on thread tape you should wind it in direction that tape “gets tightened” by the part you are threading on. Also, primer and cement should be applied to both parts of glue fitting and then parts should be spun at least one full turn once together. Cement is designed to “melt” the PVC and then reharden it and this helps mold the pieces together. As for the heat shrink… for any situations where wet conditions are present you should use marine grade heat shrink. It is s bit more expensive but has a water tight sealant inside. But all in all great job.
Thanks. I learned that thread tape thing while i was doing it. This was the first time I had done any type of pvc work so I was winging it lol next time ill do that thanks for the tips.
This is a great attempt, and I don't want to say anything bad about a talented guy like this, but I would warn against having so much 120V power around water without taking more effort to separate the 2. I'm concerned especially about the way the pump switch leads were only covered with a few layers of heat shrink (and probably not the adhesive kind). Heat shrink alone is not normally water resistant, and certainly crimping with pliers (not actual crimpers) will only last a few years before it dies, and may cause a fire when it does. Be careful out there. Great effort though.
I also taped it up and it never goes in the water or gets touched by water that being said it could definetly be better eventually when we get a bigger garage im going to remake the whole cabnet so its bigger and "cleaner" so no sketchy wires or anythin like that lol.
@@B.C.Garage7 cement this shit. My new decal. Keep going bro. Your way smarter than your friends. Be somebody!

I don’t think your going to have a lawn left after that 😂
Nah fr tho 💀
Let it dry more when I did it. It was soft when I felt it first , but I let it dry more and it got harder.
I think you don't understand the meaning of "hard". Hard is not the same as strong.
