Calming The Angry Sheep At Innerleithen.
A couple of months ago I revisited Innerleithen and used Adrenalin Uplift to hit the hill and got to ride some new trails and some of them I rode for the first time out in a previous video.
This time round I had some fresh brake pads, a different bike and some more experience under my belt. I met up with fellow RUclipsr MTB Mania on the uplift and he showed me around some trails I hadn't ridden before and during this session we got to hit Angry Sheep again and this time I found more of the flow in this great trail.
Hope you enjoy!

Stunning MTB Descent Riding The Slabs On The Isle Of Harris

I have been planning and day dreaming about this for a long time and it felt great to finally get back up to The Outer Hebrides and give it another go. After many hours scouring the internet checking satellite images and OS maps etc looking for possible routes to include a big slab descent I found one perfect for what I had been looking for. This descent was from the top of Huisebhal Mor on the...

    Looks like an awesome hill descent! I'm thinking of getting a new full sus and considering whether to switch to 29er, do you find it an improvement from 27.5" wheels? Is it better at taming lumpy features? (I'm not so bothered about speed!)

    • @TheFlowingScotsman
      @TheFlowingScotsman 2 года назад

      Yes in my opinion the 29er rolls over rougher terrain better than the last 27.5 I had. The slight downside is less maneuverability in tighter sections but I've got used to the way it handles. Mullets seem to be more popular now which seem to blend the advantages of both but I've never had one so can't properly comment about them yet. If you can get a demo of the different set ups and see how you get on. If anyone else could comment with their experience that would maybe help you decide which one would suit you best. Either way it will handle better than a Raleigh Chopper😅

      No I had a ride planned in Contin the next day and wanted to keep my legs fresh but I regret not riding it now. Next time I'll definitely do HBR and Mastermind together.

    Cracking vid mate - awesome trail! I did HBR in ECO a month or so ago and only used about a third of a 630wh battery - definitely doable!

    I did HBR once and mastermind twice on one battery while in turbo a few months ago so doing HBR twice is definitely possible. Another great video Derek 👍🤙
