    are you self taught ? Modern D is very nice :)

    • @LoopingPiano
      @LoopingPiano 8 дней назад

      @calikokat100 yes and no. I started when I was around 10. My first teacher was a church musician and I played it all, Czerny, Bach, etc. At the age of 15 I switched my teacher to a non classical music one. Looking back it probably was a mistake as more foundation is always better. I quit lessons at about 18 and didn't play as much as I used a couple of years. Mostly because I had no good sounding piano at home. Ever since I started upload here on RUclips I really started going back playing a lot. Finally with the Modern D the sound is right again. The Roland Fantom 8 is good enough for the touch feeling. However, I am looking into getting a Steinway soon once I got the space in our new house :-) So no I am not self taught playing the piano, BUT I am self taught playing other stuff than Bach :-)

      I think the first part is more obvious as it is known by a lot of people, but I like the second part more. Down in the lower keys the F chord sound feels so good.

    Actually, there are 3 Supernatural piano packs and several EX piano packs. So, if you install all of the free upgrades, it's probably way more than 120. My favorite used to be the Symphony Hall V-Oiano, but the EX upgrade added a new Hamburg Grand V-Piano, which is my current fave.

    1:03 - 1:04 Me encanta escuchar cuando se equivocan algunos ejecutantes porque me hace recordar que su interpretación es única y humana. Si no hay errores, entonces, es autómata, no humano.

Uno de mis profesores de piano me dijo una vez que sólo eres profesional cuando eres capaz de repetir conscientemente un error que has tocado sin querer en un sitio. Si lo haces con la suficiente confianza, se convierte en parte de tu propia interpretación ;-) Pero me pregunto cuánto tardará la IA en fingir los errores humanos ;-)

    So good! How to set up connection for this? Do you need a soundcard or something like that? I have a midi - usb-c cable. My soundcard was fake ( i bought it when i was 16) so i gave it way.

    • @LoopingPiano
      @LoopingPiano 3 месяца назад

      That's a great question! Honestly, I'm not completely sure if a sound card is essential for this setup. I remember back when I first got myself a sound card (SoundBlaster something...) for my parents' 80486 DX-50 computer. I installed it myself, and my mom was practically on the verge of a heart attack when she saw me tinkering with such an expensive device (the PC.. not the soundcard :))! But to get back to your question, I've connected a digital piano (Roland Fantom 8) to my computer using USB. This routes sound and MIDI into my computer. I run the sound library on my computer, which then sends the audio back to the digital piano through an audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett 8i2). I also use a LoopBack and an ASIO driver to route the sound back into OBS Studio for streaming. It took me a few days to get everything set up properly, but it works smoothly now.
