I'm not going to lie, out of the whole trilogy this is my favorite one! Just so fun to sing the chorus and I'm so happy you made these ^^ I'm also going to show my family these songs because I think they will appreciate them as much as I do, especially this one. ALSO: I have loved your songs for months now and i wanted to ask you, I have music I've written and since I'm a bad singer, I could never use it. Its been 2 years and I don't want it to go to waste 😢. If you want, I'd love for you to have the music I made and you can use it as a song since I truly suck at singing. AGAIN! This is a song I've been listening to every other day because it reminds me that people can pick up an acoustic gutiar/ukulele and make a banger! To which, this has became my favorite song in 2024. To this day, this is my favorite Empirss song. Listening to it, I get the urge to cry. My favorite part being Jimmy's because I can relate so deeply and I love thinking of the headstrong guy that is Jimmy as a secret little soft guy. All the leaders singing about their home that they hold deeply, it has so emotion. I hope more people find this song

I was reading a FH fic, and all of a sudden I remembered the "Just for today, let's pretend there isn't a war at our doorstep" Line, but I didn't remember where it was from. I spent like 10 minutes looking the line up and for some reason I was 90% sure it was a Crane Wives song lyric. This whole situation is the proof that this song is amazing. It really gives off the same feeling as some Crane Wives songs, which is a massive compliment. Good job.

Even after all this time, this is probably my favorite fansong for Empires. I cant help but come back to this video and sing along! You captured their stories and the stories of Empires s1 so well!!
